I agree with you it'd be a PR disaster and they may be using well, but I don't think he's our brightest talent. I would give that to Reece James. One could argue mount is ahead since we don't know how CHO will recover from injury. Idk if I would consider RLC at "talent" anymore. He's already there for me. As terrible as this transfer ban is. We've also been so unfortunate with injuries to our younger players. We've also got such a talented group that seems will make it through. CHO, James, RLC, and mount. That's brilliant. Hoping 3 of them recover well from their serious injuries. So excited for CHO to sign this contract. Top career ahead for him at chels. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

The sad truth is that being acquitted does not mean they are innocent. It is unbelievably easy to get away with things when you are rich. The system is broken, especially with someone who is rich...and historically speaking, men have consistently gotten away with these acts, that's not a question. Also, millions of women wanting him means absolutely nothing on whether he raped someone or not. There's plenty of famous, "attractive" people that have been sexual predators in various ways. Let's take the Ronaldo situation for example. We don't know what happened, but what we do know is that he paid this woman a lot of money to keep quiet about what happened...she eventually decided to come forward. He is now acquitted, but why did he pay her so much then??? There has to be a reason. She might have "wanted" to get with him at first but then once things were happening she wanted to stop, but he didn't. If he forced to continue, that's clearly rape. We don't know what happened. And rape is a really hard thing to prove too. It's one word against someone else. Like vesper said, rape is clearly a sexual thing, but it's also a power thing. Ronaldo may feel he has the right to anything to anyone because he's rich, famous, etc. I mean Trump is pretty obvious example of that... Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I disagree with that. I think height is overrated. It would make a difference in crosses, but to me tenacity and positioning is more important in those cases. There have been tons of top class center backs with his height. I'm not sure he quite has touch, turn of pace, and quickness of feet to play as a modern day CM. He has lots of other attributes for the position though. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I really wish we would have sent him somewhere he would play CB. He's got all the qualities to be a top ball playing CB at a top club. I don't think he does as a CM. I'd love to be proven wrong here though. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Agreed, I love him as player too. Honestly, I'd love to have him as striker here. I really wanted him or martial over the past seasons, but it didn't work out. Unfortunately, it now looks like Ole is going to play martial at striker. And I'm not confident in us getting zaha. It would go against the signing younger players thing, but we have CHO and Puli as young wingers, it wouldn't hurt to have an experienced player for the next 3-5 years (Pedro and Willian especially shouldn't be that). But I really think it could solve our striker issue next summer too. The dude is a baller Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

No, I didn't. That's simply one part of defending in that formation and situation. That is not going to happen near as often as you make it sound. The pros FAR outweigh the cons of his defending. My whole point was showing the bigger picture but you decided to narrow it down to one type of situation. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Jorginho's defending is unbelievably underrated. He's terrible when defending in open space, as he gets beat by strength and speed pretty easily. But he is brilliant at pressing, brilliant at interceptions, and works tremendously hard. He is a great "team defender" if that makes sense. He also isn't afraid to stuck in. I just get tires of the myth that jorginho is terrible at the defensive side of the game. It's just not true, especially when pressing is the most important way to defend in modern football. Honestly, league performance is almost always a better barometer of how top a team is. And City have proven that. Yes they have underperformed at times in CL. But i know you love to take every opportunity to hate on pep and city.

Why do you think he is a season away from being ready? I'm not disagreeing, but wondering what your reasoning is. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I agree on almost all of that. My only disagreement is that RLC isn't at more risk than any other player in this match. It was just really unfortunate. I would rather none of our first team play, but it's clear that was not allowed. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

You're looking for a reason to get at Sarri...he could have gotten injured just as easily in a training session. RLC really isn't injury prone. He has constant problems with his back, but what he injured tonight is not like it a common thing for him. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

That's a really poor comparison saying he is basically Luiz. They are COMPLETELY different types of players. Luiz is a physical beast that is aggressive in both tackles and pressing. He's also brilliant at opening up play with diagonal balls. Christensen on the other hand lacks physicality, he's more of a finesse/elegant type of defender. He reads the game better (when he is playing well). He hasn't developed long-range passing, but I think it would come once he gets his full confidence back and more playing time. They both seem best in a back 3 and that's about where the comparisons stop.

Was his back flaring up against Frankfurt, or was he just cramping? I thought sarri said he was cramping, which I understood just as calf cramping. I could be wrong here Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

The irony of this picture is that this was one of the few times he actually lost the ball lol. Didn't really have much of an option though Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

He completed one semi recently when a couple people got injured. I don't remember the game but I remember thinking that he would have come off if subs weren't forced. Definitely needs to work on being able to play 90 though. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Honestly, I'm okay with that. I'd much rather azpi fill in at CB than have Cahill play. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

We need to not be too dramatic. Yes, we did not play amazingly, but some really good stuff happened. We deserved to win by far. They scored two set pieces and created nothing open play (one half chance that I remember). 2 players got injured (kante out really hurt us in the 2nd half. It's time he got the recognition he deserves for being brilliant in that position). We should have scored another one or two. Their constant time wasted stopped any time of flow from the game. It was embarrassing. Their goals came from a brilliant strike and their second shouldn't have counted. I forget who (maybe wood) was offside on the back side, behind RLC. Then he blocked RLC from being able to run out to the guy on the wing who headed it across. That is clearly offside yet nobody is talking about it. I don't know why. They don't score that and we cruise to victory. Also the added time was absolutely absurd. It should have 6 or 7 minutes added. Then an injury and that whole fiasco took about 2 and half minutes of the stoppage time, so there should have been 9 minutes total. It's really not that hard to get right, I don't understand.

Looks like he did his Achilles. The way he went straight for the Achilles went it happened doesn't look like a calf strain/tear. The way he was walking after also seemed to be Achilles. Not good news. So unfortunate. Right when he's breaking through. He'll be out awhile if this is the case. Full tears often take a year.

Or he's actually injured...that's embarrassing from you Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Out of curiosity, why do Liverpool deserve either 10 times over City?

Wow....again, none of that makes it okay. It makes it worse. I'm embarrassed for you right now. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I said because of the way he looks AND/OR his faith. If it is the way he looks, then it's racist. If it is because of his faith, then it's a religious prejudice. Either way it's wrong. And about Jewish stuff, if it's prejudice against them then it's wrong. I can't believe this is an actual discussion. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Really? It's because it's clearly implying that because of the way he looks and/or his faith that he will bomb people... Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Not sure if you are saying that since it happens everywhere that it's not a big deal. If so, that's simply not true. That does not make any better, nor does it make it okay. In fact, it's worse that it's happening everywhere. It's an embarrassment and wrong. Plain and simple. It should be publicized and called out in a way that will make it stop (or at least lessen). These people shouldn't be near the club.

It's crazy the judgements people seem to be coming to based on one video...Maybe you all are implying the video is a microcosm of his play as a whole, but it really seems it is one video and now he is an ineffective player that stalls on the ball. Hazard does stuff like that often. Is he ineffective? Let's just not take one video out of context.
