  1. I agree with you. It's pretty obvious that no one can ban twitter on this forum. I was just trying to prove a point: people need to stop posting bullshit just to make more posts here. It's annoying. Not to mention frustrating for those who come here to read some decent information. Everytime I want to find out some new info about Chelsea, I come here because I know that most of the people on this forum are smart and don't post stupid news.
  2. Blame it on the people who chose to post here exactly the 'tweets' of "all the 'agents'". It's just frustrating to see crap like this on every single transfer page on this forum.
  3. Twitter should have a place on that "unreliable sources" list on this forum.
  4. A great addition to our squad. He is 21, but he looks and plays like he's 25 or so. Let's hope Victor will get better and better. Welcome!
  5. He is a beast. It would be great fo us to sign him.
  6. Yes they did in the first 20-30 minutes and in the second half. I'm not saying that it's a bad thing to defend. I'm just trying to explain why it is not easy for a player like Torres to play great or score lots of goals in these circumstances.
  7. Reading basically parked the bus against us, today. It's hard for a man like Torres to score in such circumstances. He's the kind of striker that needs spaces. He tried to create some of that, mostly in the first half (remember that beautiful action when his shot was blocked). He also had a few decent shots blocked by the Reading's defenders. I think one of those shots was blocked by the hand and we should've got a penalty given. Anyway, the point is that he tried today. He wasn't a ghost on the field. Just like he wasn't a ghost when we played against Wigan. And most importantly he scored the goal that took us ahead. Lucky, pathetic, Inzaghi style, sweaty goal, whatever. It doesn't matter.. He scored, he is our main striker, we need to keep our faith and trust that he will finally shine in the blue jersey.
  8. He was supposed to play against Dinamo Bucharest tomorrow in the Europa League, but the Romanian press is claiming that he won't be playing because he is in Brazil waiting for his agent to seal the deal with Abramovich. The text in italics is the part that I don't believe it's true, especially since Shakhtar Donetk want him too. It just seems more likely for him to go to Ahmetov's team than to Chelsea. But he most certainly won't play tomorrow and if that happens, it means he'll leave Metalist for sure.
  9. Mulţumim, Pantilimon! (It means "Thank you, Pantilimon" in Romanian) Come on, Chelsea!
  10. I don't think "unknown" is the right word to describe Oscar. He isn't unknown, he just didn't get the chance to impress in Europe yet. That's why some people are tempted to say that he is not worth this amount of money. But you can clearly see that he's quality. It's wrong to disconsider him just because he's young, unexperienced in Europe and expensive just like it's wrong to make him sound like the biggest star in the world. We should be more balanced about this.
  11. Sorry to interrupt your endless discussion about how Oscar is or is not a #10, but I'd like to know if there's any RELIABLE source saying that we signed him. Thank you!
  12. Really? Come on, it's not like we're buying some classles anonymous player from the Russian second league (no disrespect). He's a Champions League winner, he was the best right back in the world a few years ago. And it's not like he's 42. He is 31, he can still help us. P.S: If you're saying that he's shite because he's been bad in the last few seasons, then so's been Sneijder. Is Sneijder THAT BAD too?
  13. Can't judge Maicon only by what happened with him in the last period. When Inter won the UCL, he was by far the best right back in Europe, in my opinion. After that, it wasn't just Maicon's downfall. It was Inter's downfall. Maybe he just needs to change the air. I wouldn't say that he is a great transfer, but he might be what we need. The guy deserves a chance.
  14. I'm not saying that he's a great Chelsea player. He's just a guy who won my respect after this season and I wouldn't like to see him in that pathetic team's shirt.
  15. Yep, he was in Liverpool's shirt BEFORE being in a Chelsea one. What's YOUR point?
  16. I really want Modric, but I can't stand the idea of seing Raul in S***s' shirt.
  17. Call me selfish, but I'm happy that he didn't sign for Real or Juve. Chelsea will remain his last big club to play for Good luck, champ! And thank you. Thank for raising the blue flag so high.
  18. If you ask me, I'd say that they (Spain) have become a little narcissistic about that tiki-taka thing. Just like Barcelona. I really hope England or Italy win this Euro.
