  1. Dude, we were 11 vs. 10 for 75 mintues + Extra time... And he parked the bus.
  2. Because: 1. Poverty is not a big problem in England. 2. England invented football, basically. Chinese people probably don't give a damn about it, in general. 3. If the situation in Russia is identical, it doesn't make it right. Of course, these outrageous amounts of money invested in football are a huge general problem, but at least in some contries they are somehow justified as they generate entertainment for people. English people love football, German people love football, Spanish people love football. Chinese people?
  3. How is Abramovich's example relevant here? Well, good for them, but poverty is still a big issue in China. They might have a strong economy, but their political regime doesn't really give too much opportunities to average people. That's why their workforce is so cheap and huge companies exploit people there. A lot of Chinese people really are starving. That's a fact. And now they decide to invest huge amounts of money in a sport that they don't know anything about, in a sport that they don't have tradition in. It would've been understandable to invest in gymnastics, for example. But football? In China? It's really weird.
  4. Underachieving? He overachieved big time with Villareal and Malaga. With City it's difficult. He got Barcelona last year in the UCL and his team did pretty good, but how could you eliminate last season's Barcelona? Guardiola should've been running away aswell with Bayern, but he didn't even get to play the UCL final. Your favourite got embarassed by a 10 men PSG squad...
  5. Spot on! And I 100% agree with Roman and the board, if that's what they're thinking.
  6. And when you think about all of those poor Chinese people starving... Smh... What this world has come to.
  7. Pellegrini is a decent manager. His record is great and City were always a very positive team under him. Way better than under Mancini anyways. I don't understand why people hate him so much. I wouldn't say no to the guy, he's decent after all. And he's a gentleman. Remember when our beloved Mourinho was leading 1-0 against "Pellegrino" on Etihad, we parked the bus even though it was 10 vs. 11, but "Pellegrino" didn't give up and the game finished 1-1? Well, that's that attitude that I'd like to see at Chelsea. You can say that he could've done better at City, but you can't say that his team was not entertaining or a lot more attractive to watch than Mourinho's Chelsea. Not to mention his achievements at Malaga specially. He almost took them to the UCL semifinals. Malaga, people. I invite you to read this article. Nice stats.
  8. True that. And the best way to prove it is by mentioning that he is unemployed at the moment and failed at Schalke. I like Robbie, but that's the truth.
  9. Well, I wonder whose decision was to let De Bruyne go. Or Mata. Or Luiz.
  10. But he will have to deal with Pep. He will go to United.
  11. I don't understand all the fuss. He won't even leave.
  12. They don't want us to win the FA Cup. So what we're gonna do? We're gonna make sure that we win it.
  13. The lads seem to be enjoying themselves right now.
  14. Not really, but Sky Bet does " We continue to see money for Robin van Persie to join Chelsea. The former Manchester United striker is now 2/1 to join the Blues from 6/1, although he remains 2/5 to stay at Fenerbahce for the rest of the season. "
