  1. I'm a fan of Sebastian Frey. Very under-rated, probably because he doesn't play for one of the traditionally 'big' teams. Easily among the top 7 currently active GKs in Europe.
  2. Ah yes Duffers. Always liked him. shame he's ended up across the street now . Even there he practically carried them through last season alongwith Dempsey.
  3. He hasn't proven himself yet. Hence the attitude stinks. He's clearly used to being the big fish over there.
  4. Drogba has achieved almost everything that can be achieved. What has Neymar done so far? Horseshit. Add that attitude on top and it's easy to see why he isn't too likable.
  5. Pepe = shite. Perfect defender for Madrid. (discounting Riccy ofcourse )

  7. Oh look Ms Whiney 'lil bitch threw another tantrum.
  8. Nothing on official CFC. As usual. Sigh. Terry will be a big miss at VP. It's going to be very physical there.
  9. Things are pretty slow right now. Damn international break!
  10. Yes but Hart and Friedel are proven performers who are on view week in, week out. On the other hand, has anyone actually watched Begovic play? I'd rather call back Delac who's doing nothing but warming the bench at Vitesse than splash money on another unproven player.
  11. Fair point. But I'm wondering if our youth are being trained to play just like how our seniors do - pretty football when it's needed and tough, combative, physical performances when the situation so arises. I love the physicality of our side - it's something that sets us apart from everyone else because we can mix it anyway we want. I'd hate to see us become another Arsenal - all about just pretty passing.
  12. 'It's crucial to get regular first team action if you want to play for Holland's senior side. However, I've only made six first team appearances for Chelsea so far,' he said.'The national team coach has told me that I need to get more playing time and this has made me think about my direct future. I will evaluate my situation with Chelsea before Christmas and it's possibly better for my development to be farmed out on loan. 'I've played with the reserves for two full years now and I feel like I'm ready to play for the first team on a weekly basis,' he went on. 'I do realise that I still need to improve certain areas of my game though. They've told me that my time will come though and that I should be patient. That's probably the best thing to do. 13. I know that. But even so, it's not unreasonable to expect the youth team of a world class club which has a very expensive academy structure and global scouting networks to be doing better than it currently is. 1 point out of 9 is ridiculous.
  14. It's not enough to 'want' a new ground. I guess somewhere in our hearts everyone accepts that a bigger capacity stadium is needed. But obviously there are tons of problems which stop us from getting one.
  15. Am I the only one who thinks Chelsea youth should be beating the frigging Ipswich youth?
  16. Not worth a fiver atm LOL Plus, Jose would never let him come to Chelsea.
  17. Exactly. Besides, expect another article in the next few days with Macheda saying he was 'misquoted' or his words were 'taken out of context'.
  18. 1. Doubt we're going to spend what Santos would want. 2. Where does he fit in? 3. His physique is not ideal. 4. He's not going to start games and regular minutes is what he wants.
  19. The other existing topic is closed and this article has direct quotes from Neymar himself, so am opening this new topic. Maybe the mods can merge the two later on. Brazilian wonderkid Neymar has reignited Chelsea hopes of signing him after he hinted at a possible deal next year. He told SunSport: "It would be great to get the chance to play for Chelsea. I feel excited about it." "To play for Chelsea would be an honour. Everything they have to offer is attractive to me." The Blues were involved in a very public tug-of-war for the highly rated player which even resulted in legend Pele getting involved and eventually ended in a stalemate. Chelsea reportedly had a £25 million bid turned down by Santos. "They have big players, they are in big competitions, they have a strong squad and I like the way they play," Neymar said. "Top players want to be part of something like that. I'm no different. But I'm happy at Santos. "If I left it wouldn't be because Santos isn't a good place to be but only because the Premier League is a higher level." Pele was against Neymar's move from Brazil to England beacause he felt the 18-year-old was not ready for the Premiership. Neymar told SunSport on Tuesday: "It wasn't the right time for me to go in the summer but I will be much better prepared for it by next year. Espnstar
  20. Erm wasn't it Begovic in goal when we put 7 past Stoke?
