  1. PSG would be a good destination from him. It seems Chelsea and PSG are forming a sort of friendly rivalry with the UCL matches and transfer dealings they've had with us & it's of course no secret regarding their coveting of Mourinho in the past. It'll be a good place for Petr, he'll win titles & it won't be in our faces either. Wherever he goes, I hope he'll be their #1.
  2. Had a worldie yesterday. I still think he needs consistency in playing this way, it's something to see with these short bursts of pace accompanied with a ton of control. It's a hard skill and he's learned it well, just needs more application in matches. No doubt he's done well to see off competition from Salah, Schurrle and now Cuadrado.. But how long will it last I question?
  3. I really do hope, with a ton of respect for him, Drogba isn't a third-choice striker for us next season. I hope he's at the club in a coaching capacity, because he does seem to be an influence in the team. But I feel overall he's been quite poor. He's gotten goals, which no-one can dispute, but you can see his decline is just become more and more prominent. He's 37 now and you can see the effect it is having on him, his touch is poor and his decision making has become a black mark on his game these days. Even if we don't use Solanke and Bamford, I'm sure there's other guys that can come in and play that bit-part role. But if we have this situation next season, where our only fit striker is a 37-year old.. Then we'll be in trouble.
  4. Yeah it's more for the fact I missed the match as opposed to the punditry
  5. If anyone can get the MOTD highlights, I'd be eternally grateful
  6. When he gave this interview the day after we won the Champions League
  7. I sincerely hope these were an April Fools' joke that got delayed..
  8. Wouldn't be surprised if Italian football begins to implement the German financial model.
  9. The terminology was wrong granted. But as bad as the challenge is, there wasn't a need to get up and go straight for the player. That's what I'm saying. Yeah I do understand why he's done it, don't get me wrong. It's a horrible challenge, but Matic knows doing such things can get him sent off. It wasn't a little shove, there was serious force behind it.
  10. And eye for an eye makes the world blind. He shouldn't have reacted, let the referee do his job. Even if he fails to do that, think about the bigger picture.
  11. Oh come on, if everyone reacted like that in the world we'd be a more violent people. Bad tackles are part of the game, composure is also part of the game.
  12. You can appeal a straight red. But it won't be successful, there's clearly intent by Matic there. It's football, not wrestling.
  13. There was no need for him to be over the top. He should be really apologetic to the team because he may have cost us a lot.
  14. We're lucky we can blame the referee to mask the problems of today, aren't we? Played like shit at home, smh.
  15. Potential is there, he shows glimpses of his flashiness.. But I feel like he's going to need some time to adapt. With Schurrle and Salah gone, I see no reason why he shouldn't get that.
  16. Aston Villa decided to break their goal drought vs us on Saturday.. Lord please don't let Everton find their backbone against us
  17. My mistake It's such a massive frustration. That's why I simply can't get excited about these young players anymore. It's just unfair to see how good players are and not being nurtured appropriately.
  18. Do you? I've seen too many come and go to faith faith now smh I feel like Bamford, RLC, Baker, Brown etc will all end up on a rubbish loan somewhere. Their hype will die down and they'll be swallowed up into the abyss of our failing academy. ..Would loved to be proven wrong.
