  1. It's not that I want to say "i told you so" but...
  2. I would find it hard to accept him going to Arsenal, but at least he never said he wouldn't play for another English club

  4. If it were to happen, touch wood it doesn't, it should be until January at the very most. If he's not playing regularly in the time, he should be recalled as soon as possible.
  5. Political tensions could rise as a result of this, something I'm sure the US is vying on. For the FBI to have been building this case, there's obviously a known consequence of angering the Russians & Qatari's. That's precisely what will happen if Putin has any suspicions Russia's 2018 campaign is under threat. Maybe that could be season 4's House of Cards' main storyline
  6. Yeah that's a good point too. With the amount Zouma has featured this season, it would be unconscionable to then send him out on loan.. Almost one step forward, 2 back. Yeah I agree, that's why Zouma being shipped out would be more of a mystery. Bare in mind though, Mourinho has counted Ivanovic as CB before so in his mind he has 4 players fighting for 2 positions (albeit, one of them is playing anyway). It would amaze me if we didn't sign a single CB this season.
  7. You'd think so, but the 'in talks' part does disclose a lot more. I would say a 6-month loan at best, but there's no need at all. Cahill & Zouma could have a great season trying to fight for their place, Terry could even be drawn into that.
  8. Hahaha, this makes me laugh somewhat! Liverpool fans were crying for Liverpool to bring Origi back in January when they weren't scoring goals, hyping him to become the next big thing Obviously he's still young and has time to turn it around.
  9. Co-sign what you guys are saying. He's clinical in front of goal and it amazes me that only a minority of fans see this.
  10. Oh god that's by far the worst I've ever seen - Amusing af though! -- On a side note, Remy is criminally underrated on this forum
  11. I suppose so mate. Mourinho must have observed what happened to the likes of Josh McEachran et al & is taking steps to ensure the same doesn't happen.
  12. I sense there's more to this. Suspect he's struck a deal to escape any punishment by FBI or whoever.
  13. Of course, I do accept it. I just think it was a bit unneeded, especially at this dead-rubber stage of the calendar. I hope he does rise to it though, this could make or break him.
  14. There are too many comments on here that show similarities with the justifications/explanations of Torres' decline. Of course, if he comes, he will be given as much support from the fans and players alike but I just don't think we need to make this signing.. 1 step forward, 2 steps back.
  15. To say, about a youngster, that the relationship between manager and player has "taken a step back" sounds incredibly demotivating imo. We can only hope he's had a word in private to RLC assuring him these things happen and he still has trust in him. To doubt his injury in public too, not good to see.
  16. So ends RLC's stint as youth flavour of the year..
  17. Hmm, I'm not sure mate. I thought he was also impressive when Arsenal had a formidable partnership of Kos-Per (which was always doomed from the beginning to be frank). I haven't paid much attention to Kos since his last high profile pen (my memory leaves me as to which match)
  18. Haha touché, but you know what I mean. He identifies as a Spaniard, by opting to play for them, and so it's a similar tale of "going home".
  19. I don't believe this story anymore than the next guy. BUT he wouldn't be the first Spaniard that went abroad and wanted to go back home..
  20. Really, Kos? I mean I was a fan of his just as anyone when he was at his peak but that's rarely seen. Gives away too many stupid penalties and I don't think he's got any better in his decision making. I put him akin to Luiz, but Kos isn't as volatile.
  21. I found it amazing that people bought this whole "not his decision" thing. He's a grown man, he has a choice in the matter and if he didn't like it then he shouldn't have done it. Contracts are agreed by both parties, if he really didn't have a choice then it's breach of contract.. But as we all know, there was no breach because he did agree.
