  1. Joe Cole wasn't "bad".. He just wanted more money (probably) But that's off topic, Ramos is having a good world cup, but he's a right back. Needless to say, we have 2 good able right-back and a surplus of central defenders. Ashley Cole is the best left-back in the world, Zhirkov is not an ideal replacement (no offence to his talent).
  2. Looks like Chelsea are set to retain Michael Mancienne for next season. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/w/wolverhampton_wanderers/8772838.stm
  3. It won't happen. Ashley is a very important players from us. & £25million for the world's best left back? Be serious Real.
  4. Looks like we're set to lose out to Manchester City again, Daily Mail report a sum of £25million
  5. It would be a reunion of sort as it was Ian Holloway who first discovered Scott Sinclair at 10 years old. http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/football/859047/HOLLOWAY-EYES-SINCLAIR-REUNION.html
  6. Following on from Silva, seems like City are liking whoever we're linked with (Let's pray they take Yossi from us too!) http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_6236255,00.html
  7. So much for our hopes.. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_6235979,00.html
  8. Walcott is so over-hyped it's unbelievable. All he has is pace. He doesn't have good ball control, his crosses aren't effective and he can't finish under pressure. I was glad Capello left him out. I do agree on the main point, however. I think Adam Johnson and Ashley Young should have gone for Heskey and Crouch
  9. Joe Cole claims "political reasons" lead him to be released by Chelsea earlier this month. Speaking to The Guardian, Joe says: Finally he addresses us, the fans, who have been wanting answers for so long now, he says: Typical, Joe leaves us in further suspense. Now that his international duty is over (sorry for being so blunt) Joe can finally concentrate on finding a new club. (Full story here)
  10. I highly doubt it. He's easily go enough left in him to compete in the Euro2012 championships.
  11. Wolves are hoping to sign Mancienne on a permanent deal now, but the ball is in Chelsea's court. After selling Stoch last month, could they sell Mancienne too? http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_6232457,00.html
  12. I wouldn't worry too much. He turned 31 in March, so he'll only be 33 by the time we release him. The Drog turned 32 in March but we all have faith in his ability in the future.
  13. The infamous Caught Offside are reporting Ancelotti making a £22million move for Uruguayan hero Luiz Suréz. This story comes after he struck 2 goals in the knock out game vs South Korea which led to them winning the match, thus progressing to the Quarter finals. It's no wonder this story came out, Suaréz has become an instant hero, which means the rumour mill will be going crazy. Anyway, check the story out here.
  14. The most obvious point would be, Silva hasn't done anything yet.
  15. Jesus, what happened with the title? LOL But glad for Ballack, back at his old club to finish off.. Good luck to him
  16. SkySports should report it though, so I'll wait for them or BBC. 2 most reliable websites in the world (wide web )
  17. Not seeing it anywhere else, will wait for Chelsea to make it official.
  18. I think the Arsenal fans still call him Le Sulk! LOL
  19. Great news! Nico has worked hard this season, been a great asset when Drogba wasn't on form or just when we needed someone with a clear mind to come on. I don't believe this will put Aguero off at all, he will see it as a challenge not a turn off.
  20. I think if Silva would sign for us, it would definitely tempt Aguero towards the Bridge. It often takes 1 signing to start a wave of others, currently we're selling (or releasing) to balance the books. Once the buying starts I think we'll bag Aguero.
  21. I wouldn't worry, the Athletico Madrid GM has always been saying his players are staying. He's just speculating.
  22. Dare I say, we may actually sign this player? His agent says Read here
  23. I'm not surprised at all that they are under-performing. It's usually a given that when you're great at club level, you're not that good for country. Drogba, Messi, Ronaldo and Rooney all prove this theory. Not to undermine them and say they're crap internationally, but let's just say the Drogba at Chelsea is very different to the Drogba at the Ivory Coast.
