  1. We probably could get Pato if we were serious and wanted to spend big.. There's no doubt Pato would like to link up with Carlo once again, but I'm sure AC would look for near £20million.. In that case, Aguero seems the most likely signing..
  2. Seems David Silva is leaving it up to Valencia whether he is to be sold or not. With Valencia's, well known, cash flow crisis the right offer may force them to sell. A possible transfer for Chelsea? http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11668_6195007,00.html
  3. Good news being reported today.. Drogba's rejoined the Ivory Coast squad No word yet about when he'll be fit to play. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/jun/07/world-cup-2010-didier-Drogba http://www.irishtimes.com/sports/soccer/2010/0607/1224272029496.html http://sport.stv.tv/fifa-world-cup/countries/ivory-coast/181478-Drogba-to-rejoin-ivory-coast-team-mates/
  4. Seems the only reason Joe Cole hasn't been signed by anyone yet is because of his ridiculous wage demands.. If he's forced to drop this, I think he'll sign a deal for Chelsea. It's supposedly the whole reason he didn't sign a new one in January ect.. Only Manchester City would pay-out the wage, I doubt he wants to go there though. I also think the claim he's not getting enough pitch time is also ridiculous, he's made 38 appearances this season. More than the season before (19)
  5. They will all be shown live on ChelseaTV right?
  6. Chelsea officially announce 3 more pre-season friendlies today: & Stories can be read here and here
  7. Rumours are heating up that we're about to take on José Mourinho head on. This and this story claims we're going to launch a €30million (about £25 milion) bid for Sergio Ramos
  8. Torres is better.. but something makes me want to see Aguero at Chelsea, more than Torres
  9. Speaking of unreliable sources, now look who's reporting this story
  10. @kakuta44 I can see how you feel about Mikel here, (everyone can). I myself didn't like him at one point, saw him as reckless, irresponsible and too immature to be in the Chelsea team. However this season he proved me wrong, filling the shoes of Essien is no easy job and it's made him a more mature footballer. He's had a chance to be in the World Cup. A tournament all footballers DREAM of going to, to help their team win the most coveted trophy in the sport! And that's the EXACT reason why Mikel has pulled out. He realises he's not 100% fit and he realises it means his team is going to suffer because of it. You're using players like Rooney and Terry as an example? Well what if they played with an injury and it cost them the game? Let's say if Terry had an injured hamstring and then he can't run back with an opposing striker, that striker scores and knocks England out. We'd, without a doubt, ask the qustion "why was he playing when he knew he was injured?! He's cost us the game & tournament" I have nothing but respect for Mikel's decision, he's young and mature enough to bounce back and make the 2014 World Cup.
  11. £7 million is being reported now!! Now we know this is a petty untrue rumour =]
  12. Or let's have Arsenal so you can add to your sig's early
  13. LOL I laughed when I saw this story! Glad he's okay though
  14. Can't say for sure whether he's out or not, I'm sure Ivory Coast are working hard to see if he can participate at all. I personally doubt it, but look like it'll be a wait
  15. I think that's a bit harsh. Would you rather have him make his injury worse so he misses a whole Season for Chelsea?
  16. Match: South Africa v Mexico Date: Friday 11 June Kick-off: 1500 BST Result: Draw Final Score: 2-2 First Scorer: Carlos Vela ________________________ Match: Uruguay v France Date: Friday 11 June Kick-off: 1930 BST Result: France win Final Score: 1-2 First Scorer: Malouda
  17. Because Drogba's a warrior.. Haha Ivory Coast need Drogba, without him they'll be mentally stunned & If there is a chance he can play in the World Cup I doubt either Drogba or Ivory will pass it up
