  1. AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato says he will not be joining Chelsea ahead of the new season. Don't know about any of you, I'm not too disappointed. Would've been a nice signing but we have enough talent in our squad. "My sole aim is to be ready for the restart of training with AC Milan on July 20," said the 20-year-old. "I have a contract with AC Milan until 2014 and I have every intention of respecting it. "And in 10 years, I will return to Brazil to end my career at Internacional, the club which belongs to my heart." || Story ||
  2. Well no-one really knows what Bosingwa's form is like.. That injury could have set his pace back, he might be out of touch I'd like to see Ivanovic -- Alex -- Terry -- Cole If Alex were to get injured Bosingwa -- Ivanovic -- Terry -- Cole
  3. "Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho is reportedly in Italy for final talks over a move to Inter." This story seems to be picking up a lot of heat lately, especially the part about signing Bruno Alves. There were also reports he was speaking to rivals Milan, but it seems that he’ll come down on the blue and black side of San Siro. || Story ||
  4. Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan has been linked with moves to Premier League clubs Chelsea and Manchester United, as well as French outfit Lyon. With his national club captain, Michael Essien, in our squad we could definitely attract Annan if we wanted. He is a defensive midfielder from what I know, so that means Essien would be pushed forward (which personally I like to see..) and Mikel would be lowered to the subs bench. Annan has been dubbed 'the next Claude Makelele' by many, as his ability in defensive midfield is akin to the former France international. And we all know how magnificent Makelele was! || Story ||
  5. Uefa president Michel Platini was taken to hospital on Friday after fainting in a Johannesburg restaurant. Is it too early to hope he'll retire from the role? || Story ||
  6. Seriously? You're gonna argue again?! Is there any place on this forum that people won't start an argument about racism now?!
  7. I'll be very happy if he gets to make an appearance for Chelsea this season. Even a role on the subs bench will be good, increasing his chance!
  8. I'm sure once the season starts again things will go back
  9. Why are you guys talking about a racist banned member when this is about someone completely different?
  10. "Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Mick McCarthy is readying a bid for Chelsea defender Michael Mancienne, according to a report from The Sun." £4 million being rumoured. Read here
  11. "Please don't call me arrogant, but I'm European champion and ..I think I'm a special one" Classic.
  12. Well to be fair, they've never had a team go into administration in their league. Their debt is not up to almost £1.1billion either. The whole world has a right to laugh at our league, it's going into financial ruin.. Thank Rupert Murdoch.
  13. Not really, the Premier League is on the road to ruin already. Might as well milk it while you can.
  14. Hahaha how could Everton screw up so badly?!
  15. Even SkySports just reported it today "Premier League champions Chelsea have signed teenage defender Tomas Kalas from Czech Republic side Sigma Olomouc." Probably wanted to corroborate it?
  16. BBC Late?! This better be a one off!
  17. Don't think it should be a big issue.. Though losses of £8million on players like Chygrynskiy won't help.
  18. Forgive my negativity, I just don't see it happening..
  19. FINALLY! Very happy about this. To see him and Ivanovic fight it out to be the first choice right back will be a brilliant contest, both will give it their all.
  20. Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti is prepared to sanction Ricardo Carvalho's transfer to Inter as he prepares to shake up his defence, according to the Daily Star Mind you the story is being reported on Goal.com (& backed up by TribalFootball) but it seems inevitable doesn't it? The defender would leave us after a good 6 year stint, in which him and Terry became one of the most feared defensive partnerships in the world. Unfortunately, persistent injuries have meant Carvalho's appearances in latest seasons had been very limited. Read the story here and here
  21. Hey guys, I just thought I'd start a thread on the 5 year anniversary of the 7/7 bombings in London which claimed 52 deaths and near 700 injuries. Feel free to pay your respects or discuss your feelings about what happened. Rest In Peace to those innocent people who fell victim to such a cowardice act.
