  1. Was this one of the games where Flo went on that run in which he scored every single time he came of the bench? It was brilliant - Probably the only player we ever wanted to be benched for the purpose of later coming on
  2. So, you're the famous Cara these lot have been bombing on about for the last day Nice to meet one of the old school legends :tophat:
  3. Hahaha I get it! Ah Keegan.. What a legend he was for that outburst
  4. Ahh, this was a life time ago! Agreed with what you said about Ranieri.. He was a great coach! Had we not had Mourinho to replace him, we would've certainly questioned his departure.
  5. Definitely agree with you. I didn't know they'd put him at LEFT-BACK :| This clearly shows FIFA's stance with English football - He wasn't even a nominee for left-back
  6. Good ball. But when is the last time he produced something like that? Kalou does have his moments of glory, I won't deny that. The problem is, they come rarely and it's usually one moment of glory, aside from that, he offers nothing. But I too, like Kostas, grow tired to this debate. Max is right, he's a Chelsea player, and because of such fact, I won't boo him or any of that. I will cheer when he scores and take note of when he puts in a good performance (technically - none of this "heart" nonsense).
  7. Make sure there's no sandstorm that day
  8. http://thechels.net/2011/01/bannergate-fed-up-fan-or-media-stitch-up/ They made some good points to their credit.
  9. I'm guessing you read TheChels article about it being a media stunt?
  10. Nono, not get rid.. *replace We got rid of a few players last season
  11. Welcome Now tell your government to leave Julian Assange alone!
  12. Don't forget, throw abuse at him while he's lying down in pain
  13. That's basically what we play anyway..
  14. If he chooses that 3, it'll be Sturridge - Anelka - Kalou But I'd rather see Cech Bosingwa - Ivanovic - Terry - Cole McEachran Lampard - Kakuta Sturridge - Drogba - Malouda
  15. Wait wait wait. Tell I'm not reading this correctly.. Maicon (right-back) - Lucio (centre-back) - Pique (centre-back) - Puyol (left-back) :fainthv9: :fainthv9:
  16. Well that's it for Ronaldinho - He's signed a contract with Flamengo (in Brazl). Shame, he could've still been a top top player, even today - Had he not let all the fame go to his head.
  17. So it all came down to contract negotiations.. Why doesn't that surprise me - Politics.
  18. He had a great season - A terrific defender, who can be a make-shift striker (his goal vs Inter). I'm sure United are kicking themselves for letting him go
  19. These 2 seem to be the real "break through" academy players we've got. Let's not forget Kakuta is from Lens & Sturridge is from City. Clifford and McEachran have been with us for a while, and that's why their partnership is so great. It's something we, as England fans, always hoped Gerrard and Lampard would establish - But we see what happens in that aspect. The big question is, will Clifford's breakthrough come with Ancelotti?
  20. A great player, no doubt. He's intelligent, has good awareness, and is a very good squad players. But like various members have said, he's not the type of player we should look for. We need a playmaker, not a squad player, we're full of squad players. Essien, Mikel, Ramires.. Our only attacking midfield players are Lampard & Benayoun. And we know the problem with that is, Lampard's absence = no creativity. If we're buying someone from Everton, Diniyar Bilyaletdinov would catch my eye.
  21. I was going to say "at least fans are more civilized now" ..Then I remembered how one of the Stevenage players got punched this weekend
