Yeah, the great thing about Danny (to keep this on topic) is he's still young and wants to play for us. He said upon signing the loan deal, he wants to be part of our squad so he'll have no trouble adapting. I'm sure him and Torres can establish a great partnership, if given the chance.

Allow me to explain. Torres is the replacement to Drogba. There's no doubt about it. However the system will not be the same for him as it was for Drogba because I see Sturridge coming in a strike partner once Drogba does go. I therefore see the diamond/Christmas tree being made to suit Torres primarily, because he will become the new main striker. The players we sign in the summer will be to support Torres. Since we're pretty much sorted in defence, the only thing missing is someone to play those killer balls to our strikers and that's who we'll be looking at. If we buy someone like Sanchez, I'll be very surprised.

Rotation with who? Drogba, Anelka, Torres & Kalou These are our only strikers, and it's been argued Kalou is a winger so he doesn't count. We need to find young replacements for Drogba and Anelka (no, don't start a Lukaku thread). Also we must blame the manager here for reluctance to rotate with Sturridge in the fold.

Would rather replace Drogba with Malouda there, and put Ramires in Malouda's original position.

LOL brilliant! And I think you're right about him exaggerating the quick pace, but remember, Xavi's role is that of a quick one. He has Messi, Villa & Iniesta for that. Xavi's like that silent assassin waiting on the roof tops for his opportunity. He's like a more attacking version of Maka, who keeps the line between defence and attack in harmony. Xabi Alonso does the same for Real Madrid & to use an example from here, Fletcher/Scholes does it for Man United.

Just on that, Silva has been very impressive in the Premier League for me. He's been on of City's most crucial players, just like he did at Valencia for David Villa, he's becoming a crucial part of Tevez's success at City. We really should've moved for him when he expressed his desire to play for us. Yeah read that, wouldn't be too bad. Van Persie, Fabregas, Gibbs ect.
