To be fair though. How many times had we been in such a position? We've had an amazing defence record since 2004 anyway so it wouldn't surprise me if there aren't a lot of situations where we've been 2-0 down
You're definitely right. It's all good blaming someone for conceding goals. But more blame is on the people who are supposed to create, but didn't. My finger's pointed at Lampard, Essien & co.
Good summarising article of our season Alex. Like I said, we'll only properly move on after the mistakes are identified & learnt from. If we go from history, it's not looking likely, however, I hope I'm wrong
We should be in awe of the United scouting department. To find someone like Hernandez before he shone at the World Cup is sensational. We must learn from them!
If we are to truly be "back next season" lessons must be learnt. 1. Don't change management half way through 2. Make sure there are 2 players, per position 3. Put emphasis on a youth transition 4. Decide on a tactical style of play before entering the transfer market
Yep. Him & Wayne, and our players did nothing.. If the tables were turned they'd be bitching about how we're trying to get them booked. Any United fan who cheers Rooney is a hypocrite.
Exactly. Even the pundits on SkySports recognised our fight & determination at the Emirates.. That was the power of Mourinho unfortunately. He had the power to inspire and say the right things in the dressing room & you could see it.
