  1. So Rooney's on Twitter right now standing up for Torres. Am in a parallel universe?!
  2. Mate, you know you've been shortlisted for the moderator elections right?
  3. Cheers for the second part As for the first, don't make me get the taser out
  4. Of course! I had one today as it happens
  5. I'm fair, reliable, active & I have no conflicts with any member What you get with me as a moderator is the same user that's been doing everything I can to contribute to the success and growth to this forum as I always have been - that will never change. I'll support the staff & other users like wise, in the best & most helpful way I can
  6. Agree with Dave there 1. Manchester United 2. Liverpool 3. Arsenal
  7. I remember reading about that Ajax team. Sensational from what I read too! But that Chelsea team was also incredible! It's a real shame Robben spent so long injured, if he hadn't been, he'd still be a Chelsea player, and a definite force in this league! Interesting they've chosen Makelele & Essien in the same squad though, I remember he only really excelled when Makelele left.
  8. That's what I mean. If he doesn't want to make the move, it's not a signing we need to make now. With Lukaku, Drogba, Sturridge, Torres, we've got a good attack sorted for the coming season. So if there's some agreement then it would be okay and we'd get to focus on the midfield more by upping pressure for Pastore.
  9. If Lukaku really is coming. We might as well wait till 2014 to sign him.
  10. Would rather get rid of Turnbull & Hilario, give Blackman an promotion to back up. And bring Delac into the reserve set up so he can show why they regard him highly in the youth scene globally.
  11. LDN Statement To all of you here on the forum, you've known me for the past year as LDN Blue. Up till now, I've been just a standard forum member, who's tried to contribute as much valuable opinion to this forum as possible. There's a lot of great users on this forum, and those who've been short listed for this open Moderator role should feel honoured and privileged. Good luck to all of you, whoever wins from this point truly deserves it. I'm 18 years old and have been a Chelsea fan since I was 7, when I got into football. Having gone 10 years idly supporting this blue team from London, I grew to love this club. Ever since my first game, visiting Stamford Bridge, meeting Frank Lampard snr. I've loved this club. This forum has been something that's really improved my knowledge of the game and club. From veteran members on here teaching me about the history of this club, to the new members educating me on other leagues, players and rules, it's a great forum, with people on both sides of views. Which I enjoy. So after a year of boring you all with my views, I entered my name for the moderation role because I want to give back to this forum. I've always tried to keep the peace in forums anyway, when it comes to petty, personal arguments, or simply the derailing of a thread. I've try to keep both sides happy and try mediating problems between certain members. I've always been a very active member, and of course, none of this will stop if I'm giving the position or not. I won't be bitter or angry if I don't win. Whoever is chosen is done so for the right reason, they will have by backing and loyalty 100%. Thank you, LDN
  12. Voted Jim. His work on that fateful night was great! To get the forum back within 24hours could not have been easy, and must've been stressful too! We are eternally thankful as always mate All other nominees deserve to be there (minus myself). Good luck all!
  13. I trust you've received the funds Mr Broadway?
  14. Ha! I just gave him a cookie! :champions:
