  1. You can understand why he's a sympathiser.. He suffered a lot in Italy at the hands of the racist Ultra's! Fair play to the man
  2. Cech Bosingwa - Luiz - Terry - Cole Mikel Ramires ------------------------ Malouda Lampard Torres - Drogba or Cech Alex - Terry - Luiz Bosingwa ------------ Mikel ---------------- Cole Ramires - Lampard Torres
  3. "of the century"? what a certified idiot. Definitely one of the best in recent seasons though
  4. Definitely agree FB! I started laughing when he talked about calling Sky to up their offer on ITV. How different things would've been had ITV been successful hey? I also find the whole not free-to-air thing a bit sick. Even Spain shows El Classic on free-to-air! (afaik anyway). I'm personally waiting for the financial bubble in football to burst. That's when we'll really see the true return of passion over money. It's commendable what those mid-table clubs (Blackburn, Bolton, Wigan ect) did in introducing their own regional salary cap, but it'll only truly work if there's an entire European one, otherwise players will become more greedy. Also laughed at the ploy to endorse Platini
  5. Ashley Cole to play in Africa 10 days before crucial England game Well done Ashley! Good to see such footballers reforming their negative reputations by helping those less fortunate. He'll join the likes of Drogba, Kalou, Mikel ect.
  6. The BBC & Alan Sugar have compiled a documentary showing the financial turmoil the Premier League is in now. He shows how 14/20 clubs are in the red and shows the main culprit for the millions of expenses, the wage bill. It's available on iPlayer right now http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0113f7h/Lord_Sugar_Tackles_Football/ Which means it's only available in the UK at the moment, unless anyone knows how to view it outside the UK?
  7. Welcome Snivy. I am the oracle of TC Stick around
  8. Not a bad thing at all then
  9. Yeah, basically what Henrique said. If he is likely to be fired, then it would be announced at the end of the season.
  10. I thought that'd be coming. But if it's likely to happen, we may as well draw on the positives.. :\
  11. Sorry guys, not till I find employment. But afterwards, a 1 off payment? Why not..
  12. A definite future coach. I believe he's nearly got his coaching badges anyway right?
  13. This could work out well for us Could get a very good 5years out of him under Ancelotti. More signs Carlo will stay?
  14. The fact that we're targeting a coach, in Zola, and not a manager right now shows we may just keep Ancelotti. Zola's Italian & speaks English. He know Ancelotti well and it's well documented we lack a first team coach. Just my gut feeling anywya.
  15. Ah well. We're due our own c*nt to be fair.. United have Rooney. Arsenal have Fabregas. City have.. Everyone.
  16. Well.. I still feel Luiz > Alex. Yes he's a bit reckless at times but it's a learning curve like people have said. The solution is not drooping him for most of the season. Alex, I'd have agreed this season, but if the rumours about Van Der Weil are true, then Luiz should stay in central defence
  17. David Luiz is an immense central defender. No-one even put Alex in their starting line-ups when he was around because he'd outshone him in 2 months. Now because of 1 mistake he's not good enough?
  18. In that aspect you're right. Also with the creativity. However you must understand the reasoning of not signing him to a new contract if his current one had expired.
  19. Lol you can't compare Ballack to Giggs. Giggs is much better than Ballack, much fitter & has kept relatively injury-free! Ok, Touré & co are a bad shout, but understand my point. Signing Ballack to a new contract when he's 33 is silly. He's not that good that we should risk him as such an age. What we should've done was sign a better, younger, replacement! We said everyone would save our season. From Lampard to Essien to Mikel to Benayoun. Ballack couldn't have done anything. We always look to an ex-player or injured player to "save" us. That's dumb. We should be signing new players and make them the stars to stay in the team.
