  1. I agree about the selfish part. I believe he's placed a burden on his own shoulders to carry this Madrid team. I think the burden of his transfer fee plays also on his mind & hence he's trying very hard not to let the likes of Peréz down. In doing that he's become slightly selfish & is determined to score more than anyone. Now that Higuain's back as the premier striker & more quality like Sahin coming in, I think he will start relaxing a bit more and start playing for the team a lot more. Mourinho is nurturing Ronaldo and giving him that strict, disciplined coaching that Ferguson didn't use because he liked the young, cocky Ronaldo.
  2. I'm of personal belief that this kind of talent is something one isn't born with. It's something that's developed. I'm sure Messi was kicking a ball from a very young age & his interest of it was encouraged by people around him. The skills he possesses are ones that have been practised for 23 years & nurtured in a very prestigious academy. That's why I believe there can be more Messi's out there if they dedicate themselves to a practice, practice, practice. It's the only way to perfect football skills. Unfortunately with the amount of money now involved in the sport it's not easy to see why many have deviated and why the future quality is dropping.
  3. Oh.. Then I agree. It's pointless sending him on loan, when we do need him & should give him a chance right from the start. We should start him or Kakuta vs Stoke.
  4. That's unfair. Ronaldo has matured a lot under Mourinho this season, he's cut that out of his game a lot now and is looking like someone ready to be a future captain. Ronaldo, for me, is not far off Messi's level. He may not score as many goals, but because he's usually deployed as a winger, Ronaldo gives the same level of contribution to the team as Messi does.
  5. Any young player can be like Messi if they want to. It takes hard work & constant practice. The level Messi plays is attainable by any player, if they're willing to work at it everyday.
  6. Speaking as an Atheist.. No Certainly is one of the greats of modern football though. He's only 23.. A possible decade more of greatness to come. #wearefucked.
  7. Would be great to see him working for the club again!
  8. Indeed. But such is the level of corruption in football now..
  9. Also says they're negotiating with other clubs. There's still a chance we will lose out.
  10. Would make a great away kit. Why Adidas were generous to Liverpool this year, I'll never know..
  11. Not unless Arsenal bring down their valuation, which they will not. Even then.. Thiago as seen as their next Xavi, they will not be so keen to sell.
  12. It's natural for fans to over-hype their players sometimes. At least we're level-headed enough to admit if we're wrong.. Unlike United fans who still think Bebé's the next Ronaldo, even today
  13. Excellent player. However I doubt they're chasing Cesc anymore..
  14. Oh yeah, missed that It looked good on their away kit, but on this it looks awful. Good job Liverpool, screwing up a good template.
  15. I respect Santos for what they are doing. It's not like they're holding him to ransom. They have no need to sell, they are competing for the Copa Liberadores & World Club Championship. Competitions Neymar too wants to win, so they're in the right to demand the ultimate maximum. We say it's unfair, but were it Josh, would we not do the same?
  16. If we're to believe some of the hype, we could groom Kakuta to be our very own Shaqiri. He still has some way to go, but he's on the right path..
  17. He's an amazing dribbler, with 94 pace & 93 long pass accuracy. In my Pro Evo game anyway
  18. I think this was obvious for everyone to see. Not sure about the people being named specifically, but it wouldn't surprise me in all honesty. What Drogba doesn't realise (if he was one of them) is he needed the rest & time to recover. He may think he's invincible but he played all year round, including the World Cup, and then contracted malaria which he played through. It all took its toll on him & he became ignorant. If he's one of those players.
  19. Yeah, nothing about £15million..
  20. Awful font they're using on the back Glad about that, at least there's one flaw in it.
  21. Maybe in the US, but as far as their football sources go, they're about as reliable as Goal.com Seldom are their "sources" right. 90% of the "sources" quotes are stating the obvious like "Neymar's deal is hindered by financial fair play" and all this shit. All ESPN do is take the popular rumour and say they have some "sources" to state the obvious.
