Exactly what everyone said. He's a great right-back, but he's a Spurs player & they won't sell to us. Especially after he impressed at Villa this season. He's better than f*cking Hutton, they should make him their next no. 2. Still think Billy Clifford could be just as good. Even Todd Kane, who's got a great right-foot on him!

I think Killamanjaro made this point before. Our players struggled due to lack of rotation. The benefit of having Sturridge & Torres now is Drogba is given the rest he deserves. Remember the guy had to play through malaria because of the lack of available substitutes. Now we have a proper chance to rest these players. Danny won't suffer from fatigue since he's suspended for 3 games anyway. As is the case with all our u21's representing us right now. So I definitely agree with this thread. It makes the most logical sense. Definitely. Our play was too 1-dimensional. The goal keeper, Fielding, doesn't like the ball at his feet at all, kept trying to get rid of it as quick as possible. There was no cohesian in the centre of midfield. Playing Mancinenne over Rodwell was risky, but a bad decision. Rodwell & Sinclair should've started for Mancinne & Rose

Really impressed me today. Gets forward well & is good defensively too! Slight criticisms of his final decision, often looses the ball in the final third. But he's young, easy to fix.

Phil Jones has to take responsibility for that goal unfortunately. Sloppy one to concede, but we've got enough in this team to fight back!

Oh come on Max.. If Drogba didn't play for us we'd all be slaughtering him. Call and apple and apple. He cheats when he does that (which is less frequent now in fairness). He deliberately tries to take an innocent tackle and turn it into a foul with the theatrics in an attempt to stop play so we get the ball. That's cheating in my book. It's the same intention as diving.

It's acting to get a set-play. They're both forms of cheating/conning the referee.
