  1. Fair enough, I can see how you've reached that conclusion. However they are, just as much, responsible for how the market is as us or Real Madrid (<- Who are the worst, for the record).
  2. Wages do, in my opinion. Because it drives the cost up, at which the players are sold at (usually higher than the equilibrium of wages*years left).
  3. Nah not really, I stand by that excitement
  4. They signed Yaya Toure on wages of £250,000 a week!!
  5. Very good point. However there was quite a bit of media coverage in this window too. Albeit nothing really reputable.
  6. You are right about that, but there is no disputing our strike force does need a bit of an upheaval. Though midfield should be the big priority.
  7. If he is.. The Chelsea-Neymar rumours will be back
  8. Well how does that make sense if City will continue to spend money for more players in the windows? They'll still be inflating the market.
  9. Loads? A 25-year old hopeless case, a 31-year old Frenchman & 33-year old Ivorian. Tell me how we, like City, do not need another striker, regardless of those 3 being sold?
  10. Of course Messi will have a better career. He's received good, disciplined, coaching. While Ronaldinho allowed the money & fame to get to him to ruin his career. Alcohol abuse and constant partying turned him into a lazy, loathed player. What Kostas says is true, Ron was more naturally gifted. It's a real shame he ruined it..
  11. Loan deal? I swear we've released him. Drummy said so on the back of the Reserves' play-off final it was his last game with Sebek.
  12. One of our better midfield players for the moment. Albeit we don't have many attacking ones right now, he's certainly a breath of fresh air right now. He's by no means the answer, but a good squad player to have.
  13. End of the day UEFA won't seriously kick clubs such as Real Madrid & Barcelona out the Champions League, even if they failed on all terms of UFFP. They make a lot of TV rights of this big-name matches and it helps them balance their own books. You'll see this. No big clubs will face any real challenge for their Champions League places. Platini will not risk it.
  14. He could, but he hasn't. If he did, then you're right, it would be wrong too. UEFA will let it slide as long as they make a profit.
  15. Yeah that's a good point, it really comes down to a specific system he plans to produce. It may null a need for a proper winger, in exchange for inside forwards.
  16. I know, I understand your point and on some levels you are right. But be a bit subtle/respectful/polite ect?
  17. [off-topic] Justin I've always bit my tounge when I read your posts because I like your passion sometimes and you make sensible points, sometimes. But you really must get off your holier-than-thou pedestal you're always putting yourself on. Just sayin'
  18. Hardly. He makes a very good point. There should be rules about having such relations.. It's a mockery. They share the same money as it is, being brothers and all.
  19. This. Villas-Boas said yesterday he does not really focus on exact formations because everyone plays in such a way that they drift around. No set, fixed positions. Aguero would fit perfectly well with this, it's not like he's going to be told to stay there for the entire game. Of course he'll be encouraged to score goals, thus getting into such positions. It's not an exact science just because he's a striker, he's incapable of starting wide.
