  1. "I didn't like the offer, I thought they would offer something better" Mercenary
  2. Safe to say the cunts won't be getting any world-class players then
  3. No I mean 'Deco'. A player who we chased prior to his Barca move because he was one of the best attacking players in the world. We bought him 3 season too late, by the time he'd gone on a sharp decline. That's exactly how I see Maicon being. He's 31, he'll need "time to adapt", he'll command wages that's put even Real Madrid off signing him. There's better, younger prospects out there. When Newcastle are bidding the same fee for Debunchy that we are for Maicon, that's saying something. Coming in for rotation? To be honest I don't see it that way. He's name & reputation will probably make him our primary right back. He relies on his pace, which means at 31 he's got 2 seasons in him, at best. That's if he's anything like Ashley Cole, which I doubt.
  4. I can't put into how words how much I don't want this to happen. I just see Deco running through my mind, if he does come, I hope I'm wrong. But transfers like this seriously worry me..
  5. Do Tottenham actually have money to spend? Like big money?
  6. Alan Dzagoev's father and agent has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur have shown an interest in signing the Russia international from CSKA Moscow. http://www1.skysport...rs-want-Dzagoev
  7. McEachran didn't make the squad Sir Trollington!
  8. Yeah it would be, definitely. But it seems as if him leaving makes him a judas somehow
  9. No he isn't "back." We can only make that claim when he turns out for us like that.
  10. His agent has no care for Moses. The lad should stay at Wigan.
  11. I don't understand why people think he should retire with us. I'd personally love if he left for the MLS when the time is right. We've seen he doesn't have any desire to quit playing any time soon, we've seen how he responded to AVB trying to reduce his playing time etc. If he really wants to play week in-week out, then let him move. Just cause he doesn't retire here, doesn't make him any less of a legend.
  12. I actually agree. He's actually quite a good player to bring off the bench. With Kalou's departure, we do need another sub-squad player.
  13. LMAO how does Sturridge replace Van Der Vaart make any sense?!
  14. Will they though? I think he's going to become the darling underdog because he's with everyone's favorite Tottenham now.
  15. And have him subject to more abuse from us?!
  16. As a manager I do rate his tactical knowledge. It's his policy of running players into the abyss, till they can run no more & rushing them back from injuries that makes me doubt him a lot. He's not very good when it comes to making tactical substitutions, but he's not as bad as people make out. Obviously I wouldn't want him here cause of his battles with Mourinho, his Liverpool past etc.
  17. That Gary Cahill article is freaking hilarious - Even if it is a hoax lmao!
  18. To be honest, with Di Matteo it could happen that Sturridge will be fighting with Torres for the CF position. As it is, we're going to be left with 2 CF's anyway (it seems evident Lukaku will be going on loan) so unless we sign another, our pursuit of Giroud suggests we would, then Danny would be used there.
  19. Transfer window is officially open now. I guess we'll be hearing about their numbers & whatnot pretty soon then.
  20. Whether you're Arab, Jewish, Christian, any other faith or atheist, the fact is it's plain and simple to see that the occupation of Palestine is illegal. The original settlement was agreed upon by both Israel and Palestine and the former simply took advantage while the world idly looked on. It's the most disgusting thing when these Zionists claim the holocaust as justification for this, because the Palestenian people are going through their own version. I think Norman Finkelstein told it well,
  21. I get that, but surely there are a lot cheaper alternatives out there.
  22. We'll I'd suggest you tone it down. First of all Arabs don't hate Jews, they hate the Zionist movement, there's a massive difference.
  23. Cap, it annoys me when you give answers like that which are kind of childish, with the whole 'cool story bro'. He made his point in a fairly detailed way, you could do the same back?
  24. Fair argument, but that match was perfect for Llorente to showcase his strengths, he would've offered a lot more movement and finishing ability than Negredo. Torres has lost the faith Del Bosque once had in him, where as Llorente hasn't found it at all. I'd be very surprised if Torres were to start v. Italy, which he should tbh.
  25. To be fair though, who did AVB manage to lure here from Porto? If Porto will play hardball with us, they'll definitely do so with Tottenham. They'll account for the fact the latter has no European football and sell that story to their players.
