  1. The understanding here needs to be that plainly this: The board and Roman never wanted Di Matteo to lead this rejuvenation for this squad. It was a mere obligation for them to hire Di Matteo because of his successes last season, and I think that's something we should've seen in hindsight. It's basically putting it this way, had Avram Grant won the Champions League in 2008 the same thing would've happened.. The sequence would've been identical. Of course we have the right to be angry, frustrated and disappointed at the complexity of these issues at our club. This club's been through the brink of liquidation to vast wealth that some of us never fathomed. We've been through the heartbreak of Moscow to the jubilation of Munich. From the heartbreak of waving Mourinho away to the joy of the potential of Villas-Boas. My point is, a lot changes in football. Finances, players, management even ownership.. But the fans must be the ones who unite and stick with the club through all that. The fans still make this club, irrespective of the board's decisions. The fans have a large say on club's dealings (case & point: CPO saga). We have to believe in this club, believe in the owner & believe in ourselves as fans to get us through all this. Carefree wherever we may be.
  2. I really can't start defending Rafa from Sir Red Nose yet.. It feels too strange tbh
  3. Yeah fair point actually, he's been here through all the coaches, not sure if he was pre-Mourinho or not though. And you're probably right about that, they'll probably link all of Rafa's ex-backroom staff and find any conflicts lol Man I hope Sunday will show us some kind of faith in Rafa's abilities, I first wonder about his line of formation.. This is the man who was notorious for 4-4-2. Return of the diamond perhaps..?
  4. I don't know, but it seems a bit trivial of an issue. Didn't something very similar happen last year though? I think Villas-Boas tried to change the goal-keeping coach as well and was denied by the club. Or maybe it was Rafa at Liverpool.. There was something LOL
  5. Not really Cech's call that though.. Manager should be entitled to bring in his own coaching staff.
  6. Oh Chelsea, Chelsea.. Do you think we even have a PR department?
  7. Right.. So when are we appointing Zenden as our next interim manager?
  8. But we can't turn to Drogba every time the chips are down. It's bad enough that for years, upon years, we were haunted by Mourinho's spirit. We finally decided to change the set up of the team to play ball-to-feet and not hoof it up to the striker and make him do the rest. Of course, that hasn't gone so well, but the point is Drogba shouldn't & can't be plan B anymore., The club & squad must find a way through this without turning to him.
  9. So it turns out Israel only agreed to a ceasefire because America bribed them with more defense aid. Smh.. http://dissenter.firedoglake.com/2012/11/21/israel-gaza-ceasefire-comes-with-pledge-from-obama-to-seek-more-defense-aid-for-israel/
  10. A common trend of British pursuit of imperialism
  11. It's bad enough taking 1 step forward and 2 back after today. If Drogba comes back it's 1 step forward, 7 years backwards.
  12. Ah. Well I wanted to ask what exactly those who proclaim to be Zionists actually believe.. Hope you could've clarified for me?
  13. All we can do now is back him. Good luck Rafa.
  14. How ironic would it be if the fan's villain manages to become long-term (LOL as if that's going to happen though..)
  15. No choice but to back him now. Good luck Rafa..
  16. Mancini will relish Sunday. an easy 3 points for the taking. Furthermore, this is all John Terry's fault.
  17. I don't even know why I bother expressing any emotions to this. We all know RdM was only hired cos the club felt obliged and not because they wanted to.
  18. beyond caring. we're the laughing stock of world football, di matteo will leave with dignity, class and an impressive CV. we're, as usual, made to look unambitious and full of knee jerk wankers.
  19. It's amazing.. We make joke threads like these whenever a manager's appointed but a couple of months later, they're actually realistic. Not having a go at OP, but it's just incredible that this is the identity of Chelsea.
  20. Di Matteo must take responsibility, he took a risk he thought would work. It didn't, but he doesn't deserve to be sacked.. Only time will tell if that happens.
