  1. I was quite happy with tonights performance. We are starting to dominate teams again and playing decent football. Lack of goals is of course a massive problem.I would rather not have RLC and Havertz any where near the team sheet, but I think slowly but surely we are starting to put round pegs in round holes.
  2. If RLC makes it on to the team sheet we need to seriously question our future. He is a serial failure that has been given enough chances.
  3. Our expectations of a top class player is diminishing.Rice is a good player, but god almighty he is nowhere near the silly money quoted.
  4. I suppose it's not unreasonable to expect improvement commensurate with money invested and players available. I expect a vast improvement on Saturday and a comfortable win otherwise Potter will be clinging on.
  5. There is always an element of luck whether a player makes it in a team and was the right signing. We look like we are signing decent players at last.
  6. I think the new ownership has factored in the fact that Potter will fail. The squad we have will attract the most high profile managers in the world that have failed and triumphed in equal measure. Potter is a low risk cheap experimental measure if things go wrong.
  7. There seems to be a sense of things coming together with our team. Of course I could be completely wrong, but I don't think so. We are a team for next season with the players we already have.I would back us against any team next season.
  8. It's probably been asked before but is Nkunku our player? - if so it just gets better!.
  9. Is it ok for me to say I'm glad Jorginho is gone?. He's got his attributes for sure but not in the premiership. He was in the wrong team at the wrong time in the wrong league. I can see the logic why Arsenal have bought him.At 12mil he will be a back up player and an available outlet to slow things down a bit that a high tempo Arsenal team play with. The problem is Jorginho can destroy the forward flow of a team in the premiership.
  10. Hi folks first post.It looks like we are assembling a very exciting squad. The thing that excites me as well as buying exciting players is the new owners(like the mounties) who seem determined to get their man!. Who knows maybe our new recruits will breath new life into our underperforming players!....you live in hope.
