Just watched this last night with my 12 year old son..... it was too early in the morning here in oz so avoided the result all day. we both agreed how impressive it was of Nico Jackson to have missed that sitter........ which we both agreed it was. But did not dwell on that.... on the contrary, he went full beast mode and scored the decisive goal. These are the people that every group in football, and in life needs to hold on to if they wish to be successful. Not some mercenary who will throw their toys out of the pram at the first hurdle......./ cough / lukaku 🤐

Just got to watch the highlights in english (Australian). the commentator (don't know who the fuck he is) said..... and i quote....... "when it clicks..... it clicks" I am aware it was just boro...... but....... Here.... it's just so much "he's trash"...... "their trash" It's a new year....... I hope you are right..... my aforementioned 10 year old asked me "who is Chelsea's number 9?" With a very deep sigh i replied...... "LAKAKA"......... he laughed as he had seen the memes on the interwebs..... i don't find it that funny. I long for a return of a striker with the confidence, drive and swagger of someone like Drogba (who was raw also before he became "Drogba Legend"). Early days but Jackson shows promise. 🙂

I think we played well, albeit defensively given the opposition. Still a nice morning's viewing (sat here in oz)...... I can barely remember the last time Chelsea won at home. spare a thought for Enzo...... he has seemingly lost or drawn every match since he signed here. My 10 year old just now is watching some little American Chelsea fan"youtuber" playing FIFA on his computer. As I walked through the room, the aforementioned youtuber is reading out his team selections for a match against...... ah who gives a fuck...... and says, with me remarking: Badiashille...... "bbbzzzzzz - injured" James.........."bbbbbzzzzz - injured again" Forfana.........."bbbbbbzzzz - injured again" Nkunku........"bbbbzzzzzz - out" Mudrick......."bbbbbbbbbzzzz - injured also" Chukwumenka......."bbbbbbbbzzzzz - fucked too" ....... (i know my son is 10 but i'm starting to lose my temper by now). Maybe it is the youtube kid, or maybe the fact i had not had my 2nd coffee yet. 6 of this kids (and possibly my) first team gone before the 3rd match. The commentators here said that we had to put 2 goalkeepers on the bench..... such is the extent of Chelsea's injury list. I think Poch had very little wriggle room. So sure, it's only Luton.... but with that injury list coupled with the inexperience of this young team...... i take only the positives that have been mentioned already in this thread...... for now. my oh my.... I read this forum, and enjoy all of the differing opinions........ I know I don't post a lost but I shall chime in here. Many here say that our club has lost its passion, leadership and is a rudderless shit show of entitled social media obsessed lazy little kids who have no idea what this club is about ........ "prime Drogba...... Prime Terry la la la would make a difference......" And many believe the all time top goalscorer of this club (211 if i'm not mistaken).... from fucking midfield ! .... doesn't have it within him to show some of the aforementioned passion and pride for this club that everyone begged for whilst under potter. ....... for a handful of matches? I'll play for my first post..... cristiano ronaldo? 🙂 anyhoo just been reading everything up until now to try and keep up. Ive been a Chelsea fan since my time in london in 2000 but this is the first time i've kept an eye on dealings on the forums until deadline day (mostly to see what the new owners would do)......... bar one season I have only known roman. holy cow it's bonkers. Im glad it's done now and just hope the team can focus more and hopefully improve on the pitch. Really hope something can be worked out with this young armenian/russian player in the future. He looks ace 🙂 ..... or will that fall through now?
