  1. Bakayoko is a Chelsea player and on our books. Whatever we get from his sale will also be included in profits on the company books. Also I quoted 60m € (54m £) for jorginho and Barkley , while you say 50m £. Hardly any difference. In short, literally no reason whatsoever to sell kante.
  2. Those 3 (jorginho (40m), bakayoko (20m), Barkley (20m)). Can easily fetch 80m €. Infact won't be surprised if they fetch far more Also by your logic, we can't play jorginho , Barkley and now even kante as the former 2 are alreadt linked to moves away and kante "has" to be sold. In that case the only options are kova, rlc and mount. And no willian or pedro too. No kepa, no alonso/enerson. Get the gist? Half our squad is on its way out apparently.
  3. Why do we need to sell kante.. We already seem to be selling jorginho as well as barkley. We have bakayoko, Drinkwater to sell too. Just those mid options pay for kai
  4. If we are looking at net spend then no. Because makes no sense accounting wise to mix up 2-3 years. Like you said in your post above, we had a 100m loss in 18/19, so it's not like we are a profit making machine and we spend only what we earn. The only thing we care about is being FFP compliant. Which allows us to have 30m € loss in a 3 year rolling window. So given that we had a 100m loss in 18/19, I am pretty sure the hazard sale helps us balance that year out. And this year we need to break even to be compliant. So to answer your question, I don't think hazard sale helps us, other than maybe his bonuses might be included in the 20/21 season rather than 19/20.
  5. Does not make much sense to include 18/19 and 19/20 FY books in 20/21. 3 very different entities. For this season so far we have a net spend of 20m € for werner and ziyech (offset by Morata, pasalic, Nathan). Add 80m€ of kai, and that's 100m€. As for sales, I am pretty sure jorginho is a goner. So that would be Barkley - £25m, Batsh*t - £15m, Emerson - £15m, Bakayoko - £25m, Rudiger - £30m, jorginho - 40m£. 150m £ in player sales, along with kenedy, Drinkwater, musonda, baker, Blackman, baba rahman, zappacosta, matt miazga etc etc. So Don't forget, only 6 loanees from this season. Also, all of this is organic revenue that we would generate, there must be atleast 25-50m£ of the transfer budget too. So we might have more than a decent budget for a GK, CB and LB.
  6. Rudi and someone who is apparently not a good passer of the ball, zouma, played some great cross field balls to Alonso and Reece. Both of those players have a better passing range than jorginho. The standards have fallen so low that making those obvious and easy passes are now being cited as a sign of greatness 😂😂
  7. So "he passes the ball to the player who will pass the ball to the player who assists". Hmmmm. Tough job.
  8. Not to forget the literal gift he game to salah.
  9. Against liverpool he did not "cost" us a goal. But he sure was having fun given TAA the space and time needed by simply sitting back and doing nothing. It's not a direct mistake, but might as well be. And there have been plenty of such minute details which have cost us massively. If FL starts alonso, then I would personally lose any hope.
  10. Alonso as a LB, probably against Traore? Well, if we do start with this then GG before the ball is even kicked.
  11. He has played 2237 minutes already this season. It's only going to increase or stay constant. So obviously oppurtunities will be there.
  12. Why? Give Reece the experience here itself. With a shorter season there will be more opportunities as well as the chance to give him EL/CL experience. As for zappa, out of his 25mil euro fee: 17/18: Amortization: 6.25mil 18/19: Amortization: 6.25mil 19/20: Amortization: 4.2mil (Since he signed a contract extension of 1 year hence the change in amortization value) So basically we have 8.4mil euros of value left of him on our books. If we sell him for 10-15mil this window, thats still a profit from player sales and we can simply move on from someone who was always a MEH! signing for the club. Not only that, but we also open up space on our books of about 4.2mil +wages for new signings. On the other hand sending Reece out on loan gives a wrong signal to the youth and the boy himself. He is quality and should be blooded in. In my opinion, having zappa back would make no sense. Either financially or just by quality
  13. Lazio really fucked up. 1 point in 15 before the win last night. If only.
  14. One of the best in the world. But injurt prone and 100m
  15. Why would we keep our worst CB of the season while selling our best?
  16. Shocking. Need to take a massive loss on him and move on
  17. Agree to disagree. We need our best team out there, which neans players who have not run themselves into the ground in the last month. he can have a week off and then fa cup final.
  18. I am surprised that we have gone to ATM for a oblak swap, rumors of going to barca for a ter stegen swap, but nothing on cillisen swap. I know we lose a lot, but seriously feel its worth it. Cillesen will have no re-sale value, market value will be far lesser than kepa (with him being 31), but think it would suit us for short term. Most of the signings we have done is based on long term thinking, maybe we need to take a step back in this.
  19. I have 0 confidence heading into this one. Literally 0. Alonso vs Traore. Lol.
  20. Any update? So surprising there is no word on him.
  21. Pulisic werner ziyech Kai kante mount/kovacic Sitting DM with 2 no.8s
  22. True. There is a world class all round CM hidden somewhere in him. Hope next season we get to see that player, specially with all the talents coming in.
