  1. Haha, I am a little bit. However, we have a lot of dregs and there is only so long we can hang onto all of them.
  2. West Ham, Spurs (if they sell Kane), Palace, Newcastle (if Ashley decides to put his hand in his pocket), Brighton?
  3. With Billy going, we must have someone in mind, even if that is Gallagher.
  4. Well we need to shift players, we aren't far off fire sale stage. €4.5m is reasonable for Moses considering his contract, age and contract. Better £4m than trying to find yet another loan for him.
  5. Tbh, the RCB gets played as a Half Back in the current system. Not sure you need a 'real' CB for the position. Dave and James are fine imo for that position.
  6. If we need a veteran striker, Benzema is the one (who is also unavailable) to go for. CR7 is far too greedy to pump up his stats to be in this side.
  7. Well I think it is a fairly logical leap Zouma would be someone the club would sell, as: 1) He clearly doesn't fit TT's style 2) He is the type of defender a lot of PL clubs would like 3) His minutes were starting to dwindle to Tammy numbers 4) We have so many players, some will need to be sold, who could admittedly be handy, in order to raise some capital. I will freely admit, this is me crystal ball gazing and not based on any sort of fact. So, please take more as a projection/prediction rather than me stating it will be a fact/is happening.
  8. Tbf, Zouma should bring in £30m+, there will be plenty of PL teams that would take him, whilst I also believe he is one of the lower (if that is the right term) earners here. That will mean, if we sell Tammy and Zouma, around £95m (approx) income from sales, £100m if you include Moses. If someone like Ziyech, really is unsettled, you can maybe push that to £130m. The issue the club probably has is the top earning deadwood. Baka, Drinky, Batsh*t, Kepa, RLC and Barkley, all earn over £100k a week, whilst players like Zappa, Baba and Emerson probably all earn over £50k. Those players drain around £800k (approx) a week or £41.5m a year. The issue we have is where we were able to farm those sort of players out before and maybe even get a loan fee, now we need to either cover their wages in full and/or part of them. Either way, I think Håland at £150m is possible for us, if there is a will on both sides. However, if he is brought, then I would say we may be scrapping around for other players and may have to accept a Zappa and Barkley/Baka back into the squad to fill holes.
  9. Yeah but they are paying pretty insane wages. PSG had Silva and replaced him with Ramos, that is a pretty lateral move. Donnarumma wasn't really needed and won't be a massiveupgrade immediately on their current GK (although long term will be.) Wijnaldum is a decent player, but the wrong side of 30 and isn't someone that people would go crazy over. Hakimi, fairs, great player. As for PSG, they have got these players but look evermore likely to lose Mbappe. So, I wouldn't say it is all flowers and roses.
  10. We're always silent though, doesn't mean we're not doing anything, although I cannot prove we are. I think we just need to hold tight. One issue I see is that the club want to get rid of some deadwood before buying this year. Currently we have the following players with no role here whatsoever: Baka Baths*t Emerson Baba Drinky RLC Barkley Moses (don't think he has been confirmed yet) On top of that we also have players like the following who have questionable roles: Zouma Tammy Giroud Ziyech Kepa Zappa (maybe on the above list, but I do think he could play RWB2 after his performances last season.) Personally, I am starting to think we need to shift a few players before we actually buy anyone. However, that is going to be tough as all of the above players are on wages higher than they're worth.
  11. Castles is probably the worst jorno. Whatever he says is pure 100% BS or is something everyone else already knows.
  12. Because some random person on Twitter said he told Hakimi not to come here. I am not really a fan of Ziyech as a player but the hate is nonsensical. Yeah, after watching him, I think he may struggle a bit in the PL as he won't get as much space. Utd to be fair are probably the best fit for him however, well them or the Dippers.
  13. I give Kane's ankles two years before he is too immobile that he has to stay in the box the whole game. Grealish for me is overrated. If City do £200m+ on them I would be delighted. That is worrisome. This sort of targets make me fear a repeat of 2017. Indeed. Has disaster written all over it.
  14. True, but Tammy does have a decent enough scoring record to be a CF2. Obviously, he doesn't look like a great fit for TT's system, so maybe he goes anyway (I think if we get offered Watkins type money £35-£40m we take it.) However, replacing Tammy with Broja is a bit of a brave move, especially if then Broja gets no minutes when he could get a loan out somewhere and play every week.
  15. As someone else points out, what is the point of buying average players for £20m-£40m a pop if they're not even guaranteed to start? We have a long history of buying such players and 90%+ of them end up being a disaster and/or us taking a massive loss. For me, one thing the academy boys have shown is that there is zero point buying such players. A much better idea when we need a back up player is to give the youth option a chance and then evaluate after they have had a go. For me, of Liva is as good as everyone who says they have watched him is, then giving him six months instead of signing Adama makes a lot more sense. It is one thing to want Hakimi who is probably the worlds best RWB and another to want Adama to come in and be given a go.
  16. This is true. I personally don't rate Martinez but I do Felix. However, Felix is a player we have no need of; unless you can get him at an absolute steal of a proce, which we cannot.
  17. How much have you watched him? Extreme skill is not two words that have stuck me when watching him.
  18. Sorry, but Adama will put up Moses figures. He really isn't that good. As for Cuadrado, he is a good example. A player, I never wanted as I knew he would find the PL too much. However, with Adama he will find the step up in quality required too much.
  19. Looks great as a Kante replacement statistically, however don't we need more progressive passing and carrying from our midfield? That would worry me when looking at his stats (not seen him play, so cannot going purely on what you posted.)
  20. Surely this depends on Giroud, Tammy and Håland? My opinion is a loan to Germany would be best. If he does come back, then we would need to sell Giroud and Tammy for him to get any game time. I can see the logic of him as Håland's back up as he has similar qualities which mean's they would be more consistency in the squad when he needs a rest/has a game out.
  21. Completely agree. Has to be the most overrated player we've had for years. I mean one of the most popular liked posts on this thread (or the Mount one) states that RLC is better than Mount at everything 🤣🤣🤣
  22. Well lets be honest, who doesn't want him badly? Every top club in Europe will want him. Ok, Pep may not, but lets be real, he is the type of guy that plays his leading goal scorer as a DM in a CL final. As for our interest in him, no way was he ever signing during the Euro's. If the club some how pull him off (I give us a max 25% chance) the club will want it done during a 'down' week so to have a mega social media w*nkfest over it. All about the clicks and sheep you can attract as 'followers' these days. I would've loved Hakimi. I have seen quite a lot of him and have always been super impressed with him. I did think we would get it done (I didn't have any proof, just a gut instinct) but if it isn't to be it isn't to be. Furthermore, I haven't seen this Liva kid everyone is going on about. If he is as good as everyone says, then maybe it is a good job we didn't go for Hakimi (I cannot say as I have not seen him.) Good loan for him. Norwich play the right sort of football. Now we need to get the fits right for Ampadu and Guehi if neither are back as squad players next year. Is there any proof we actually bid? I mean one where it is a club source or a Romano type grade of reporter? We should avoid Troare. He will be a 2017-esque signing. At best a Victor Moses. Please lets not do that again. Well, if true, they were probably saying they wanted Alonso on loan whilst we pay his wages and Ziyech on loan with 50% wages and a €5m buy out. Feck selling players to Italian clubs. Only one that you get reasonable money out of is Juve (but you usually have to be a Spanish club) or maybe Roma if their American owner decides to back Jose. After all Jose loves Zouma. Troare is a big no, no for me. Apart from his baby oiled arms and legs, I don't see anything impressive. SMS is your boy if you want that. However, he may struggle with mobility and stamina in the PL.
