I hope PL stupid rules wont turn this goal into an own goal.

Conte probably wont change anything in the HT, but the team is lucky that a goal came in first minutes. Team is missing a CF, the ball barely stays in the attacking field. Pedro Hazard and Willian in the front is supposed to be an attack full of mobility and dynamism, but they are barely exchanging passes.

To be honest Pedro is not working at the moment. Conte must think about Batixuai in the 2nd half.

You guys are embarrassing. Last time Costa wasnt involved this line up worked great, so you just expected Conte to introduce Bat out of nowhere? And we even have people talking about Ake, Who just returned days ago? Not to mention people saying the team is "very fragile" against better sides, and bringing games when Ivanovic was still a starter into the debate, and forgeting wins against United, City and Spurs.

There is no way he wont be sold for that kind of money. I would sell without even thinking twice.

OMFG. What is embarrassing is saying Azpi suddenly became a CB after playing 13 games in that position as a 27 years old player. Azpi is not even a LB, he is a RB playing out of position as a CB because Conte didn't have enough CBs available when he decided to play with 3 CBs, but didn't become a CB because the team won 13 straight games while he was playing in that position, he was always a temporary fix. So people are not "suggesting" Azpi is not a CB, they are stating a fact.

Thats not a valid argument. Last season the team was a 10th sided place because in the Mourinho games we had a relegation zone performance and record. Everybody with good sense know that team was better than the 10th finish suggested. So its nonsense to bring the position in the last season's table to create this fantastic storytelling that Conte is taking a mid table side and turning it into trophy contenders. Right now 2nd and 3th places belong to Spurs and Liverpool, and those squads are no better than our squad.

Next season with UCL football I would agree. At moment if you look at the other top 6 teams, they are also full of not so great players, so I would not go as far as saying Conte is "over achieving" with this squad.

Zouma is sitting on the bench ahead of Terry, so in training he must be doing good.

Actually I think he should be introduced in this team as soon as possible, with Zouma-Luiz-Cahill being the ideal back 3. Before last two games we had conceded 2 goals in 11 games, so it was difficult for Conte to change something at the defense. Now we conceded 4 goals in 2 games, and there were poor defending from Azpi in at least 2 of those goals, and thats not a big surprise, considering he is not a CB and never will be. Zouma is powerful CB and hes got the right pace for that position in the right of the defense.

Azpi is better than Moses in every aspect of the game. Days ago, despite playing as a CB, Azpi crossed the ball right in Costa's head, who scored the winner. I dont remember when Moses got a cross right this season.

So why they are sitting 7 points behind us in the table?

Liverpool and Arsenal games were before the 3-6-1 system, and I would not say Spurs "exposed" the team defensively today. I'm not saying everything is okay in the defense. Azpilicueta is not a CB, and he was used in that position because both Terry and Zouma were injured when Conte decided to give the 3-6-1 system a try. Now that Zouma is back, he must be introduced in this side at some point, with Azpilicueta moving into Moses position. The problem today was not "exposed defense", but imo Conte failed to deal with Spurs high pressure. The team barely had a midfield in the first half, and the defenders were forced to try long balls to the attacking zone. I thought it was a bad decisions to start Pedro in this one, since this game was more suited to Willian, and perhaps Fabgreas was the ideal starter instead of Matic.

No one is happy. The problem is crazy things you are saying, like Spurs is better at 3-4-3, Spurs have a better squad, and Chelsea's squad is ultra limited. I would be okay If you were here pointing whats wrong with some players, like Azpi obviously not being a CB, or Pedro being not so good at creating things in the mid. Its just infuriating when someone just post things like "this team is full of mid table qualitaty players, we need more players", or that stupid person Who said Azpi is a better CB than Luiz and Cahill, or people over Moses topic saying he is world class, when his limitations are pretty obvious.

I just saying Azpi is not a CB, and thats not even big news. We have a proper CB in Zouma, and at some point he must be reintroduced. But you are right, reading the stupid reactions in this topic while the team is sitting comfortably on top of the league, there is no reason to come back during next games.

He isnt. Luiz and Cahill are EASILY our two best defenders this season. Azpi is doing good, but saying he is better than Luiz and Cahill just show how stupid you and most of people posting here are. There are even stupid people saying Spurs is a better team, sitting 7 points behind.

Azpi is not a CB.

If we cant win this season, then I dont mind if its Liverpool. Better see Klopp getting it than Guardiola, Spurs, Arsenal or not so special one.

Batshuay is already 23. He is a young player, but far from "youth player".

I've been busy in recent months, then when I return I find people raging because Batshuayi didn't start the game, a game where the team won 3-0 and Pedro (the player who was playing in the role that was supposed to be Bat's one) scored twice. I don't get it people, sorry. The team is sitting on the top the league, Conte has been doing so great that Guardiola tried to emulate his back 3 defense, and you guys are mad because a player like Batshuayi is getting humiliated for getting 2 seconds for the leaders of the strongest league in the world.
