What it DOES stop though is lets say an Abramovich coming to a club and just buying the best available talent out there from his own pockets and not by what money the club produces. In a sense, this is advantageous to big established clubs like ourselves who have already gone through that process. What FFP will do is stop a new Man City, PSG or Chelsea occurring which is fair enough. Back on topic though, I think Ba doesn't want to sign because the club have told him he'll be behind Torres. Don't think it's anything with the wages - perhaps as people have said the agent fees could've also played a hand in it but we'll see.
So so happy. Brilliant result, absolutely brilliant. We fought hard for it and got the result, fortunately for us Everton hit the post 3 times, but I'll take that any day. GIVE LAMPS A NEW CONTRACT.
Not really, BBC are a lot more trustworthy. And I people are going by it because the commentator said so then it isn't as close as people are making it out to be.
Moses should've started. He's decent defensively and will push Baines and Pienaar back, don't like how we're shutting down a whole flank just to contain those two. Also, Moses is not going to play for a month now.
I wouldn't give AVB the credit for getting Mata, I think it was more to do with Emelano etc. who chose him as an alternative after we were prized out of a Pastore move.
Exactly. Walcott thrives in an open game, had a great game today, but like you said, he's not as good if he isn't afforded space. If people aren't willing to see Sturridge up front here, don't see why they'd be happy with Walcott.
Never said you did but there you go. I don't think Ivanovic and Cahill are our best pair at all, that goes to Luiz and Terry for me. Obviously there's a massive gulf of difference between opinion here so we'll just agree to disagree.
