Charly Musonda on for Feruz, who's not been good tonight. Boga as a false nine or...?
-
Remember when people wanted Feruz to replace Torres? He's nowhere near ready, these last couple of games have showed that IMO.
-
No. Tribalfootball is the worst source anyone could quote. The deal isn't off at all, no one credible's come out to say it is, I wouldn't be worried yet until something more concrete comes out about it.
-
I chuckled haha.
-
Bring on Swift IMO.
-
No. Not good enough for a top team or a team aspiring to be such.
-
First touch is heavily influenced by confidence. If you've played football at any level before you'll know that.

Spike said, "Okay, chances are that if Jose Mourinho returns to Stamford he will bring along some Real Madrid players. I'm guessing two. Which two would you have here?", so obviously you'd have to think of realistic options more than your personal preferences. That's how the question seems poised to me.

Nah, don't agree with Oscar having to "work" so much on his first touch. He had a bad game in that respect but his first touch is more than fine. In Brazil they play a lot of street soccer (well used to anyway) and I'm assuming Oscar was brought up under that, so his first touch in tight situations is naturally good. Like Styles said, 75% of the time his first touch is excellent. People weren't complaining about it before yesterday's game.

Modric and Di Maria. I'd love Varane but he's the most unrealistic option out of him and Di Maria and I think in the short term we could do with Di Maria more than Varane. Don't know why people are suggesting Varane when he's as unrealistic as Ronaldo and Casillas.

I disagree with Luiz being sloppy on the ball, he has one of the best ball control/technique in the squad. He just tries things as he's an adventurous player and sometimes it doesn't work; in which case he ends up giving away the ball It doesn't mean he's sloppy though. Tactical awareness though I agree with - but that's simply down to him not being used to playing in the DM role - it would take him a couple of seasons to get fully accustomed at that which I don't think we have time for.

We haven't ever lost a European semi final at home. Lets keep it that way.

There are so many inconsistencies in this post it's unreal. Never did I say or call Danny a world beater - all I said he is a good player with a bright future because you said he was shit. You go on any Liverpool supporter forum and you'll see how they're practically in awe of him. One even said he can see Danny being better than Torres if he keeps it up - make of that what you will. You've gone from saying he's shit to saying that if he gets his head in the right place we'll regret selling him - like I said, inconsistencies in your post. I don't know what you want to see in Danny when it comes to his defensive game. He's a striker for God's sake. You don't need your striker to be top notch at his defensive game. You're basing your hatred of his defensive game on his time here at CFC because he played out wide. You can't expect a guy who's played up front for the majority of his career to be good at defending. Watching Liverpool this season though whilst Danny has been there it's quite easy to see that he does do his job up front when it comes to pressing down the man. Danny hasn't scored 20 goals in a season yet simply because he hasn't been given the opportunity to. He's not once in his career in first team football played a whole season up front so to write him off based on that is baffling to me. You look at the stats of when he has played up front and you'll easily see that he has the capabilities to be a 20+ goal scorer. You don't like the player, fine, I'm not asking you to like him, but to call him shit because you don't like him is childish IMO. Yeah, maybe you don't like his "attitude" but you've got to appreciate at least that he's a decent talent. I respect if you think there are aspects of his game he can work on but what I hate is when people pretend it was a good decision to let him go when it obviously wasn't.
-
So a player scoring 7 goals in 11 games which include goals + assists against City, United and us is a shit player? Stop being so bitter and cynical. Pacquiao has a fair point in saying that Sturridge would've been on 20+ goals as well had he started as many games as Suarez this season, stats prove that. Why is it so hard for people to praise Sturridge lol? No one said/thinks he's Ronaldo to begin with and if Sturridge is a shit player, well, then most players are too.
-
Carrick isn't underrated, he's just been good this season and has deservedly been recognized for it. Most underrated player in the PL for me has to be Morgan Schneiderlin.
-
De Gea has single handily kept/won United a lot of games this season, the choice isn't that controversial.
-
Zabaleta's been one of City's best players this season, deserves it IMO.
-
Optimistically, Cech Ferreira - Ivanovic - Cahill - Bertrand Mikel - Aké Moses - Lampard - Oscar Torres I think Hazard, Ramires Luiz, Terry, Azpilicueta & Mata deserve a rest for the United and the Tottenham game.
-
Agent Bosingwa, you've done well.
-
According to The Sun (I know) Bale's won POTY.
-
Criticise a player if you want but to make stupid and far fetched statements about him is dumb. I thought Oscar wasn't even good today but people were saying that we should bring on Benayoun or Marin for him, calling him trash and were also comparing him to Kalou, so in my opinion its more than fair to tell them to shut up. If you're going to criticise someone, at least do it constructively.
-
So we win our next 2 PL games and we're practically top 4. Come on lads.
-
So because it was in the Eredivisie it shouldn't account for anything because he's in England? It's unacceptable behaviour, don't know why you're trying to defend it when it's the second time he's done it in his career.
-
Thanks United!

He really isn't. At DM you'll have the ball at your feet more often - today was a mirage really considering Swansea didn't press us at all. His best performances for us this season have come at CB. I'd rather get in someone else at DM which will then allow us to have more offensive weapons in the team - it opens up another spot in the team if we keep Luiz at CB and makes us a lot more unpredictable. A handful performances against a few poor teams doesn't mean we should start Luiz as our main DM next season. Swansea were practically on holiday today.
