  1. I understand what both of you are saying but Arsenal and Man City are not as bad or easy as people are trying to make it seem on here. Granted, they aren't on Bayern/Real/Barca level but that doesn't mean they can't beat them. They're both decent enough to pull results like that off IMO.
  2. Mikel and MVG aren't in the same class as Pogba. Lampard is going soon, so is Essien. Mikel is dispensable. The only senior CM that's really good enough to make a great contribution is Ramires. Signing Pogba won't deter the younger players, sorry I disagree; especially if the ones mentioned above aren't there anymore.
  3. Wasn't good at all last night, definitely his worse performance this season. Not good enough John.
  4. Edited my post btw - regardless, I'm all for bringing through youth but it's clear to everyone that we lack so much in that department of the team so I don't see the problem with bringing in a great player for that position - forget the fact that United let him go a few years back, he's his own player now. All I'm saying is I'd love a midfield pivot that had let's say Ramires, Pogba, Chalobah and one of the youth players like RLC or Baker coming through as fourth choice - I'd love for this to be the scenario even as soon next season. Like I said, if the above scenario was the case, Chalobah would still get plenty of game time.
  5. How about making Nat the 3rd midfielder in the foreseeable future? You know where I stand with him, I've been one of the few championing that when he comes back in January he should be put in the first team squad...You know, Pogba and Ramires are first choice but Nat will still have plenty of game time - as Ramires grows old we'll have a starting midfield pivot of Pogba - Chalobah. Set for years.
  6. Okay, Ronaldo definitely deserves it this year by far but to say he's been "robbed over the last few years" is ignorant IMO. Like scoring 80 goals in a season isn't a magnificent achievement, lol. I understand people saying Ronaldo is better, but Messi nowhere near the level Ronaldo is on? How anyone can even saying that is bewildering.
  7. Uh, yeah we do, it's pretty much our base formation. It obviously permutes during games but our base formation is clearly the 4-2-3-1. It's clearly that because the AMs are clearly seen adjacent to each other in a line when you watch games.A true 4-3-3 is the one we used to play under Mourinho in his first tenure.
  8. People are underestimating Arsenal and City, especially the latter. They can both beat anyone on their day.
  9. Schwarzer Azpi Luiz Terry Cole Ramires Lampard Willian Mata Hazard Torres
  10. Sturridge wasn't shit here, he was never given a chance up front. You can't say that proves your theories. Suarez and Falcao are very different type of strikers as well. Suarez would fit in here pretty well due to his style of play but it'd be different with Falcao.
  11. To the translator because they did a terrific job.
  12. I say we'd be top of the league if we signed Wsyne.
  13. I disagree. We shouldn't need Oscar to deter the opposition psychologically, it's just not good enough from the defensive point of view. If the defence performed we would've easily had 6 points in the last 2 games. We shouldn't need to have to score 3 goals every game to win.
  14. KDB is about 3 years older so is obviously way further ahead in his development. Definitely KDB.
  15. ...So you're suggesting Mou will get sacked if he doesn't win this?
  16. He can't lead the line effectively IMO. Doesn't get the same space to run into. Far better out wide.
  17. I never said it wasn't his fault, he definitely gets the majority of blame for us conceding the goal, but he's been okay this season in general. My point is that it was an isolated incident that I don't think would've happened if he wasn't just coming back from injury. I would be saying the same if it was Lukaku who was in the same situation I would be saying the exact same thing.
  18. He's not been consistent enough this season IMO. Schwarzer is good enough to deputise while Cech gets his stuff back together. A period on the bench might refocus him.
  19. If you can't understand that any player will be rusty after not playing for nearly 3 weeks (if I'm correct, might be longer) then I can't help you. Doesn't matter if it's Eto'o, I'd be saying the exact same for anyone else.
