  1. Love Micah. Would make a great squad player.
  2. Sorry to be pessimistic but... Don't want this to happen...
  3. I know a few that went to SB that weren't impressed by his performance at all, he was the worst player after Schurrle. My point before doesn't really just extend to this game regardless.
  4. Hazard is a lot more selfless than Lampard is, I'm sure if Diego asked for it he would probably give it to him.
  5. The problem is, Oscar should be more than just a 'solid long term player'. He should be our future with Eden. I've not given up on him because I don't believe he's going to be a solid player, I'm giving up on him because I don't think he has the potential to become one of the best players in the world anymore. Sure, he's going to be a good player but nothing more. We should be aiming higher tbh.
  6. Forgot about that possibility. That would certainly work very well as well if Mourinho decides to change the system and allow our number 10 to focus on attacking first and foremost.
  7. He has to take even bigger steps than Eden because Eden is a lot more talented than Oscar. Eden has to take big steps because he has the ambition of winning the Ballon D'or and he's getting there. Oscar on the other hand seems to be shying away and doesn't seem to be willing to step up to take the responsibility of becoming a great player. He'll never win the Ballon D'or because he doesn't really have any outstanding qualities but he should be aiming to become a top player but he doesn't seem to have that fire in him, it looks like he's tired of playing football already.IMO I think Oscar is pretty much finished developing as a player as I can't see anything where he can develop on massively. This is the season where he's meant to be kicking on but honestly over his time here I can't see any significant improvements he's made. Hazard on the other hand you can see has clearly been working hard to realise his dream. Oscar doesnt seem to have a true dream. Really starting to give up on this kid.
  8. I really liked Cork as well. Can see this happening for sure. Chalobah is more talented though, theoretically he should make it here but taking a risk like this is absolutely alien at the club.
  9. He'll move next season for sure. Wouldn't be surprised to see him at United if LVG abandons that 3-5-2 system. Scary thing is the kid is only 20. Massive future ahead. Would love to sign him tbh, but that would mean Hazard on the right.
  10. Absolute quality talent destined to great things. Killing the Eredivisie right now and IMO is by far the best player in there right about now. He's got 13 goals in 17 appearances (all competitions) so far, he's been fantastic for PSV. He's a left winger though, thrives on cutting in and shooting.
  11. He's been one of our best players and has been absolutely vital to us this season so it really isn't that far fetched at all.
  12. Tbh Willian would make a great 4th AM, just don't think he's the right man for that starting spot on the right.
  13. Hoping he gets a start again, heard he was great.
  14. Would really like to see Zouma start but it probably won't happen.
  15. Apparently he was the best player in the first half. He's making a statement.
  16. Honestly giving up on the kid as well mate. He hasn't shown real improvement at all over his years here. I'm starting to think that he's pretty much mostly peaked already.
  17. Reus has a £20m release clause this summer mate...
  18. Well, our manager thought different. Mourinho said himself that he thought Chalobah could contribute and that he was "ready" but obviously regular game time was thought to be more important which is fair. I do believe that Chalobah would've benefitted more from sticking around their first team and getting minutes here and there, slowly integrating into a squad player similar to Ake.
  19. Doesn't matter really, I've seen plenty of examples of individuals just not being in the right environment to shine. Recent examples? Harry Kane, Ryan Mason at Tottenham. Ross Barkley, our own Bertrand all weren't that impressive during some of their loan spells. It happens. Chalobah IMO has shown enough to warrant a chance to be part of the first team squad.
  20. That's fair. However, I don't believe you were around when the discussions were taking place. Like you, I watched plenty of Chalobah at Watford due to one of my housemates at university being a massive Watford fan so my opinion that Chalobah could be a very nice option in the squad isn't something that I've just picked up on from listening or reading from certain Watford fans. Choulo is of the opinion that Chalobah's loan spell at Watford was very overrated but almost every single Watford fan I know, and my self included, rates the kid very highly and I personally truly believe that after watching him come up the youth ranks and his loan spell at Watford and Boro to a certain extent where he was pretty decent as well - all the kid needs is a chance here. As I said in his thread, I think he'd make the ideal Matic understudy.
  21. "Ryan Mason was on loan at Swindon last year. Quite a similar player to Swift. Proves League 1 to PL jump can be done... if club want it." Also a valid point I found on Twitter.
  22. Does anyone know exactly what's going to happen with Nat? I feel like (and hope) he should stay and train with the first team. He would make a brilliant Matic understudy.
  23. Haha, there you have it Chou. We weren't joking when we said that Chalobah was killing the championship during his time at Watford...
  24. Haha, gosh that was a funny read. It's real funny how TOPTB has the audacity to pretty much call TC the RAWK of Chelsea forums when he didn't even leave here on his own accord (after repeatedly saying that TC was by far the best online Chelsea community)... Oh well. Hope your enjoying yourself there Blue Haze.
