He was absolutely dreadful pal. Definitely his worst half ever in a Chelsea shirt (bar the goal).

City have a tough game and drop points. Surprise surprise. Expect this more often, they have a lot of tough games coming up this half of the season.

That first half was the worst half I've seen in seasons, absolutely dreadful. We got a lucky goal though and fully kicked on in the 2nd, response was great. Oscar was a strange one. Honestly, if you take away his goal and his assist that was one of the worst performances I've ever seen at the Bridge. Hats off to Kurt Zouma as well btw, really held his own and stood out like a man even though his older, more experienced team mates were truly struggling. He didn't put a foot wrong and imposed himself even more in the 2nd half. Hope the young lad gets more starts because I'm fairly certain if a certain other CB played - given their recent form - they certainly would've buckled under the pressure and committed mistakes. Filipe Luis was excellent when he came on as well IMO. Was key in unlocking that Newcastle defence for the 2nd goal. MOTM must go to the guv'nor, Diego Costa however. Has a great 2nd half and took his goal extremely well. That mazy run where he went past like 4 players and nearly scored was exquisite as well.

Kurt is an absolute monster.

See how proactive Zouma was there, he pretty much stopped a whole counter attack by himself. Won't ever see that from Gazza.

This is why Luis needs to start for me, the fluidity he provides on our left side is outstanding.

Oscar has an absolute awful match but somehow ends up with 1 goal and a fantastic assist. Football is funny.

Have you noticed how Newcastle are now trying to counter via our right side? As the left side has been shut down completely and we're even building up all of our play from there. Luis has been a massive part of that IMO.

The problem with Willian is that he has all the technical and physical attributes, but he lacks the mentality in the final third severely.

Got to say, I love Luis' composure on the ball, really stabilising that left side. Cabella has pretty much been neutralised. If he gets his 1-on-1 defending right he should nail that LB spot.

Yeah, but if you're going to do that at least try to disguise the free kick a bit more. Top PL keepers won't commit until they've seen where the ball is going from a free kick. He fully made Krul's mind up for him.
