  1. Well I wasn't, I was one of the biggest Costa advocates but I believe Cuadrado would be a wasteful signing.
  2. The right window to introduce him as a squad player was really after that Watford loan. What a shame.
  3. Don't even blame Mikel today, Jose's selection was way too respective of Liverpool. No way we should've given up possession as much as we did today.
  4. The players I've listed could do an effective job in pressing, covering gaps and tactical discipline just like Oscar but would contribute a lot more to our team going forward. On Barkley, of course Ross Barkley isn't going to be in top form, he just came back from a 3-4 month layoff recently. I just think he has a higher ceiling than Oscar and could potentially do Oscar's job just as well in the team but could add more going forward, hence why I listed him. I just feel that someone like Pogba or Isco in Oscar's place for example would take this team to even another level. No idea why Mata is being mentioned when I haven't mentioned the lad at all. His inclusion in this is irrelevant to the point I'm trying to make.
  5. Baines would've been £25m at least. Luis just cost us £16m.
  6. I've never compared Oscar to other number 10s in this world. I've written Oscar off because I don't think he's improved much at all during his time here. He has not shown enough to me to say that he's going to be one of the best AMs any more - that's the sense I've written him off in. Sure, he could possibly be an important cog in the team as he peaks (which I think he almost mostly has already) but I've given up on the hope that he'll become a top class player. As I've said before, he'll definitely become a good player, but never one of the best or the best in his position. He hasn't shown enough improvement for me. There are definitely players out there who are as young or even younger than Oscar who would add a lot more to the team IMO, even if they do have some scope to improve. I just don't think Oscar's ceiling is as high as I though it was before (I'm thinking of players like Pogba, Isco and Barkley). He's more than welcome to prove me wrong though.
  7. The fact that you think Atsu (who I've watched a lot of, I'm of Ghanaian descent), who is making no impact whatsoever at Everton, can make an impact at Chelsea over Schurrle is laughable. Cuadrado might be the best the market is offering right now but if he's the best I'd rather hang onto Schurrle and Willian and wait until a better alternative pops up because he would be a useless signing as he is a very marginal upgrade on Willian. Not worth it.
  8. Cuadrado really isn't better than Willian tbh. Would be an awful signing.
  9. Oscar's sloppiness in his passing isn't something new at all though.

  11. The amazing, invincible City lost? Really? Can't believe people are that surprised. The overrating of City continues I see. It was pretty evident that they'll struggle this half of the season, they've got a lot of tough tough fixtures.
  12. I got one ages ago to piss off my Arsenal mates
  13. This is a joke because Zouma was very good in the second half against Newcastle incase you missed it. If you can't live with the fact that some (quite a lot actually) people think Cahill has been poor all season, don't try and ridicule other players who have been good-great in every game they've played this season. That makes you sound very bitter and fanboyish.
  14. He's much more than a poacher, as you can see by his great assist for Oscar's goal.
  15. LMAO I hope you're not serious, you do know we kept a clean sheet against Newcastle right? This post must be a joke because even Cahill had nothing to do today, he still made the dumbest mistake in the game, luckily Swansea didn't punish us. The guys in front of him made it easy.
  16. His link up play will forever be underrated, he was fantastic today yet again. 17 goals in 19 PL appearances is incredible. What a player.
  17. Unbelievably good today. Ran the show.
  18. Oscar was great in the first half but wasn't that good in the 2nd (which is quite normal after your team goes up by 4), gave the ball away tons and made quite a few sloppy passes. Glad that he's responded well though after that horrific game vs. Newcastle. Hope he continues to improve.
