  1. There were some links recently linking him with a £36m move. Check his thread.
  2. I fully disagree, Reus has always put in a great defensive shift during his time at Gladbach and Dortmund. He's very astute tactically. I even think Reus is actual the prototype Mourinho AM. Tactically and technically astute, goal scoring, comfortable with both feet, works very hard... Not sure we're talking about the same player here. Reus is definitely not a player that a side has to carry.
  3. Isco's defensive work rate has improved massively, he was very good defensively this year. There wouldn't be that much of a drop off defensively from a Isco - Fabregas - Matic midfield compared to one with Oscar.
  4. Thank you. It's truly outstanding how people are saying Pedro would be the better winger for us to sign. I can't believe it tbh. If both are available it's a no brainer really. Reus is a class above Pedro.
  5. He's a lot more defensively astute than Fabregas and Lampard tbh, he's a bit of a bull dog of a player. Likes to tackle, but also has pretty good vision. It's not that far fetched to call him the Schneiderlin replacement. He sits in front of the defence for Feyenoord anyway. He's an interesting player for sure. Apart from his height he definitely has the physicality and intelligence to be a good player here (in the PL).
  6. Well, Pacquiao has fully contradicted himself by fully backing the potential Pedro transfer in the transfer forum, so he has voided his own argument himself. P.S., in my opinion strengthening the AM strata is just as important as finding a good CM for rotation and possibly a new defender (if Luis leaves). We actually went from Hazard, Oscar, Mata, De Bruyne, Schurrle and Willian to Hazard, Oscar, Willian & Cuadrado (the latter which I don't rate at all and I never wanted us to sign). Of course I'd prefer if we got rid of him, & given the rumours, I don't feel like it's FIFA like/unrealistic. It all depends on whether Jose & the board think the same though obviously.
  7. Being black makes him a typical Chelsea player?
  8. He didn't even go to it so... You heard wrong.
  9. Hazard scores as much as Robben does.
  10. Why does it have to be the Express. Edit: Seen that they're sourcing Fichaje. Anyone know whether they're somewhat reliable?
  11. Massive respect for Delph tbh. The Villa fans love him enough already, that love and respect will increase even more. Villa hero.
  12. This is my problem with Oscar. This game which was almost 3 years ago now is still his best ever in a CFC shirt, by quite some distance as well. He hasn't performed anywhere near that level consistently enough.
  13. If I was Liverpool I'd rather cash in at £40m than let him go on a free. Pride. £40m is a lot of cash that can be reinvested into some very good players if they do it correctly.
  14. So is selling Cuadrado that inconceivable for you? Is there like no chance of it happening (even though he's been linked with a move away)? Because if that was the case then I could perhaps understand your FIFA analogy but I know you're not that naive (well I hope anyway). Personally I don't rate Cuadrado too much, never wanted us to sign him and Reus has much more quality, so yes, it's not that fantasy-like to want us to sign a top quality player, available at a reasonable price and sell a player I don't rate, but each to their own I suppose. In your opinion our AMs are good enough but I think there's definitely a scope for improving that. If you're happy with us having Hazard, Willian, Oscar and Cuadrado as our best option at AM then good for you but for me, we can and should improve, especially if we want to compete with the best in Europe. If you think that's so FIFA-like then good day sir, we won't be furthering this discussion.
  15. £36m on Reus yes, which would add much more quality to our AMs and will allow us to get rid of Cuadrado. Your statement that we shouldn't buy Reus because we have Cuadrado is even wackier tbh.
  16. Yes because that's what I do...
  17. How does that even correlate lol?
  18. Hahahaha. Why does this make you so angry? Lighten up pal.
  19. RVP got loads of game time last season under LVG considering he was injured a lot, so I'm not sure what your point is there. I understand better what you meant now, sure Wijnaldum could have a bigger impact on his new team than Memphis but that's because he'll play in a team with considerably less talents.
  20. Song, Obiang, Payet, Ogbonna. Top signings from WHU tbh.
  21. Wijnaldum is 25 later this year and Memphis just turned 21 a few months ago. Not even questionable who is more talented and has a higher ceiling. LVG loves Memphis as well, so he'll definitely get game time.
  22. Wijnaldum would struggle to make United's bench.
