  1. Maybe we should replace the players that continue to be inconsistent for us for years?
  2. Have a feeling we will be stuck at 6th for the formidable future.
  3. Even if they somehow miraculously rise to the occasion, we know in a few weeks time the same players will dish out the same inconsistent performances.
  4. Essentially why these players deserve every ounce of torment they get from fans if they perform at their usual levels and we drop points. These fuckwits can go about throwing every manager under the bus. It's about time the fans lay it on them. They are the real problem.
  5. The whole "oH itS jUsT pReAsON" argument is a saving face by people in denial. Your eyes don't lie and when you see reoccurring issues within the team and players, "It's Just Preseason" becomes incredibly invalid.
  6. It's Arsenal. At home. If we see more stinker performances when this lot should be giving 110%, sell the lot.
  7. We sign Alvarez in January, or if we sign him at all, I will lose all faith in the direction these 'date driven' recruitment team are taking us. Saw his metrics back in August. He's a sideways passer and his progressive passes are a minimum. Jorginho embarrasses him in progressive passes and that is utterly pathetic. Look at his performance against Liverpool and Napoli. His first touch is reminiscence of Bakayoko and was completely out paced. He's slower than my nan. Yeah. We buy him in January we have a lot to worry about moving forward.
  8. I think its safe to say failure to get a result next week against them will caused a massive, massive uproar.
  9. Not for me. Still think he's a quality player and once Potter smartens up and plays uncomplicated football and a recognizable formation, we will see the best out of him and our other signings.
  10. Arsenal actually have balance and a proper midfield.
  11. Way, way too harsh. Bloke has been asked to play out of position at LCB, where the LWB is no where near helping him defensively and there is a gaping hole in midfield. Cucurella, as our other CBs, have been fucked over and exploited. Cucurella isn't 2014 Cesar Azpilicueta. You can't expect him to take an attacker out of the game on his own.
  12. In the sense they both like to occupy that #10 role. Havertz likes dropping to midfield from the ST position whereas Gallagher likes to advance high up from the #8 position. Add Mount in the mix and you have three players trying to perform the same duties or they are completely out of position.
  13. Kovacic and Ruben are the same player. Gallagher, Mount, and Havertz offer the same thing. It's no wonder we are getting torn to bits. We have too many similar players on the pitch.
  14. The root of every issue in this team points straight back to the midfield. Im at a point genuinely just to sell them all. Even Kovacic. All worthless.
  15. Fitness? Did Azpilicueta or Chilwell play vs Salzburg?
  16. But Potter isn’t doing himself any favors playing the same under performers on top of this defensively suicide tactic.
  17. Perhaps not play wingers as wingbacks and leave them so high up the pitch? He’s done this against Villa, Brentford and Salzburg and the signs were there. Brighton now fully exploited it.
  18. Project as it may, this high wingback as wingers approach is on par with AVBs defensive high line. Shocking management.
  19. This is where I hope our new recruitment team comes in. Hopefully we buy some under the radar CMs that will improve us.
  20. Yeah Newcastle fans are pretty calm and confident Bruno isn't going anywhere.
  21. Much like against Leeds, against Brentford he misjudged a lot of his tackles. Pace of the league he really needs to get up to speed.
  22. Amazes me, to this day, how some suggested we had too many defenders or too many midfielders during the transfer period. And how some wouldn't get playing time.
