The biggest mistake Potter can do is continue to trust these players. Tuchel and Lampard both lost their job because of it, although the latter was just so way out of his element.
Potter needs to realise before its too late that these players won't reciprocate that trust. Start playing players on merit vs the name on their back.
We got battered by Bournemouth and West Brom/Watford on occasion with elite managers in the past few years.
This inconsistency and poor mentality is deeply rooted into the players.
Sterling's been shit but him hugging the rightside touchline is getting on my nerves. Almost as bad as him playing wingback.
Stop favoring Mount and Havertz please. Put Sterling at LF next to an actual S T.
Because you can't create a title challenging team with unbalanced players in attack and midfield.
Havertz and Mount do the same fucking thing and neither of them can create or score.
Sterling hugs the touchline half the time and looks uninspired.
Aubameyang can't ever touch the ball.
Ruben offers fuck all defensively and in attack.
Agreed.
Tuchel looking a lot more attractive now not just because we are losing, but because Tuchel had the honesty to call it out as it is. Players are shit.
This is arguably the most dislikable group of Chelsea players I’ve ever seen. Soft, cowardly, and zero fight.
All under a manager that rewards under-performers.
