  1. Werner wants Liverpool and Lautaro wants Barca? Who else is out there is available and is a massive upgrade on what we have? Least we can do is improve the squad with end product. Ziyech was the best chance creator in Europe last season and Havertz continues to bang them in. Pulisic was also very productive for us before his injuries.
  2. He will always be remembered for his goals vs his defensive contributions. Always found him to be bloody average defensively.
  3. Like I said, if we lineup like this next season all will be forgiven. Kepa James---Tomori---Gabriel--Telles Jorginho---Kovacic Ziyech---Havertz----Pulisic Tammy Giroud/CHO/Mount/Loftus-Cheek/Kante/Gilmour/Dave/Rudiger/Christensen/Alonso
  4. He is a clinical scorer. The seasons where he wasn't he either suffered prolonged injuries or was in and out of the side given the competition. (Crespo, Schevchenko, Kezman, Ediur, Torres, etc) Also had to deal with the merry go round of managers
  5. Could you imagine losing out on Top 4 because the likes of Kante, Tomori, Dave, or simply put a select few players refused to participate? Again, how is this fairer than PPG? Least in PPG it gave us the most realistic finish to the season with club's past performances.
  6. Gallas was a tougher CB and Drogba made a mockery out of him.
  7. Mental. I remember in FIFA 13 I created an all time Chelsea XI and played unranked online matches with them. Still the most fun I’ve ever had on fifa and ea decided to take away that feature.
  8. Zola mugging off prime Dennis Irwin will forever be premier league folklore God imagine a side where Zola and Hazard operated the wings, with prime Lampard playing off of Drogba, and the Mak + Cesc in midfield. Wow
  9. No surprise he said that after he'd joined Liverpool
  10. Having only Tammy/Giroud wouldn't be an issue if Ziyech and Havertz were both playing beneath them. Tammy/Giroud Pulisic/CHO-----Havertz/Mount-----Ziyech/CHO Kovacic/Ruben----Jorginho/Kante/Gilmour
  11. Your father died of a heart attack when you were 11 Your brother died of a heart attack years later You had a heart scare a few years after that. You find out this virus can potentially kill those with underlying heart conditions. Would you still go out and increase your exposure of risk?
  12. It seems like he has. He's the only one who's had the increase in responsibility with Emenalo leaving. He isn't the one holding the kit next to the new transfer so I suppose that's why...
  13. This seems to be the constant discussion. No one knows for a fact who picks or signs players, so either view doesn't hold much weight. I find it amusing how Scott McLachlan gets off the hook.
  14. Building a squad for footballing reasons. She doesn’t do that. She is the chief executive of financial operations. No where in her job description does it say she identifies targets and sets the blue print of the club moving forward. Something an actual director of football does.
  15. Good on him. More players should follow suit.
  16. That would be true if that was actually her job....
  17. Both are a pipe dream in today's market. I'd much rather rely on youth and getting absolute steals in transfers like Ziyech moving forward. Much more stable and long term.
  18. We are bloody lucky we got Ziyech when we did. I'd still go after Boga and rid of Willian. Strikers I believe we can cope for now, if Batshuayi is out of the frame that is. LB and a CB still needs to get sorted desperately.
  19. So another season with Tammy+Giroud as our options. Not sure how I feel about that.
  20. I think Willian + Dave on our right side probably explains why our right side has been so un-lethal in the final third this past half a decade.
  21. We are getting Ruben, Pulisic, and CHO back though
