Correct me if i'm wrong, but does that even matter? I thought the entire Chelsea staff were still getting paid as well? The club is financially strong enough to provide for causes that fight against Covid-19 yet still being able to pay everyone in the club in full. Why should they ask their players to take a wage deduction when the club can already afford it? The club and the players probably see it as a better use of resources for the players to donate to causes/charities of their choice vs the club taking it out and distributing it to who they want. It's the player's money after all.

I'm more worried about our midfield. Barkley I don't have a real issue with, (given that he looks to be a better player the deeper he plays) but Drinkwater and Bakayoko we will have real issues in selling. I think there are suitors for Batshuayi, hence the high asking price. No way the club nor Lampard want him sticking around anymore. He made it well known this season just the type of level he is at.
