  1. Offers nothing off the ball and is Injury prone. Ship has sailed. He has his dream move so why does he want to come back? 🧐
  2. I know its a bit of an over exaggeration to have officials banned from officiating certain clubs but we genuinely have a case for Anthony Taylor.
  3. Imagine Tuchel opting for a Lukaku + Hazard partnership over what we had last season. Love Hazard but that would genuinely have me fuming.
  4. Kounde was dross. So naive in his decision making in dangerous areas. TchouamenI was class and I reiterate we need to sign him up ASAP before United do.
  5. I beg to differ. Mahrez, Cancelo, Rodri, Dias, and Torres. All these players made an immediate impact.
  6. Which boils down to two concerning things. 1. 80% of the time, we are a possession based team. Meaning we won't play to his strengths. 2. 20% of the time, we are a counter attacking team. But where this system is successful is the build up and off the ball movement of our attackers, something he doesn't offer.
  7. I'm very confused. If Lukaku isn't a target man, then what is he exactly? He is so limited on the ball he can't possibly be anything else? Unless he is specifically a system player, to which I will ask all of you, why did we spend 100 million on a system player that doesn't fit in our current set up that won us the European cup?
  8. Even that isn't a given. People need to remember that City's success is built primarily from the appointment of Txiki Begiristain. He set the blue print that gave the club an identity and ultimately attracted Guardiola. If Newcastle intend to spend, spend, spend with no clear long term strategy or identity then they will struggle massively.
  9. Rather Nkunku than Wirtz. Nkunku offers a lot both on and off the ball.
  10. Just goes to show how involved he is. First name on the team sheet in attack for me atm.
  11. Still getting selected? Christ. Going to need height here so I'd play Chalobah then.
  12. That's aside the point. Alonso has had, what, 6 or 7 games on the trot now? He should be match sharp and lunging in for a challenge like that would've been unacceptable.
  13. Mendy Christensen Silva Rudiger James Kante Ruben Chilwell Werner Mount Lukaku
  14. Going to need a lot of energy in midfield. Kante, Kovacic/Ruben and Mount needed.
  15. Kovacic probably more tactically disciplined but Ruben more physical. Both together could work against clubs like Saints.
  16. Want more of Ruben in midfield. Was Kante selected for France? If not then Ruben + Kante midfield.
  17. Going back 20 seconds for a very soft challenge to rule out the second goal.
  18. I was against the signing to begin with but now I am seeing what @Tomo, @Jase, and @robsblubothave been arguing. We are so unbalanced in attack and Lukaku is undoubtedly the issue. Cheeky bet Werner will be our top scorer.
  19. What’s absolutely comical is that they went nearly a minute back searching for a foul. You just bloody knew either Dean or Taylor were operating VAR. Its maddening. We have to battle both Liverpool, City, and VAR for the league.
  20. Love the energy but our attack needs to do more. No excuses from them as our midfield and wingbacks have been on it.
  21. Officially done with him. Utterly predictable time and time again.
  22. I’d like to try Havertz at ST and Lukaku at LF
  23. Early in the game, but very impressed with Ruben.
