  1. Moving the ball light years better than last Saturday.
  2. He doesn’t start at the weekend then we’ll know what the deal is.
  3. Chilwell will be better suited against Saints.
  4. PSG haven't even been that good or free flowing in attack and they are winning 2-0. They will be dangerous once the season picks up.
  5. Ruben 'bodied' Foden and dribbling in transition the only reason people want him to start. What happened after he dribbled in transition? Had his head down and played it safe. He did it at Palace and was criticised. He did it at Fulham and was criticised. Does the same thing as Kovacic except Kovacic is more disciplined in this system, and at the very least Kovacic has somewhat improved his final ball this season, although still horrid. As I alluded to, Saul on form is the most complete of our midfielders. He will be more important long term this season so it is crucial we get him up to speed.
  6. I think he is suspect against high pressing teams only. When teams press the midfield and our wingbacks particularly, his limitations on the ball are shown.
  7. 200k I don't mind. Its the rumors he wants up to 300K, which would make him earn what elite players earn. We replace him adequately, say with a Bastoni or Lacroix, doubt there will be much fuss.
  8. Will Tuchel have the balls to play Werner/Havertz/Mount against better sides?
  9. With all our midfielders on form, Saul is arguably the most complete. It's going to be a long season and we need him to get up to speed considering what he offers on and off the ball. Ruben is Ruben. He is physical, can dribble in transition, that's it.
  10. Giving into CHO's wage demands was a mistake and having Chilwell earn 200kpw was also a mistake considering the precedent it is now setting. With regards to Rudiger and Christensen, I've always been adamant that the system is suiting the player moreso the player suiting the system. I for one hope the club and Rudiger meet common ground somewhere, but giving him an elite player's wages just isn't logical in my opinion.
  11. From what you've seen from RLC so far, what did he provide that Kovacic or Kante couldn't?
  12. My biggest criticism of Tuchel so far is him having 9 months of management and he still can't suss out which attacking players compliment one another.
  13. Aye but CB’s our only goal scorers and a deflected shot leaves a bad taste especially when our attack continued to look toothless.
  14. Their attack is carving them open. Our attack did fuck all against Spurs.
  15. Hopefully Arsenal take points off Liverpool/United.
  16. Worried about their press against our wingbacks. Need CHO and Chilwell.
  17. Not that I disagree with your point, (albeit we need a larger sample size to truly see if Lukaku can’t be effective for us in these kind of games) but I don’t think this was evident yesterday. The midfield and Tuchel were the primary issue. Havertz mind you is also a notorious slow starter.
  18. Hoping Tuchel is watching this game. Saints vs Wolves. Saints worry me.
  19. I personally think Chilwell can do well at LWB. Our attack needs his pace out wide:
  20. Not entirely sure. The same wrong/poor decisions are made since his appointment. Not finding the attacking runner or making the wrong choice in the final third. This is constant. I don’t buy this lack of creativity when all the player needs to do is pick up his head. It’s as if this isn’t drilled into them in training after viewing tape. Not having pacey wingbacks that stay wide hurt us tremendously though.
