  1. It's all based on the severity of the tear and if the knee can be stabilized. Experts way in their judgment but I am assuming their initial thought is that the tear isn't significant enough to have surgery and the best initial solution is to strengthen the muscles around the knee for greater stability. All in All, we are fortunate of this news and we are even more fortunate this happened on Chilwell's right leg.
  2. Best case scenario would of been a grade 1 sprain but this is still fairly good news.
  3. Rangnick appointed as interim for United.
  4. I'd rather just recall Maatsen as he already understands the system. Not to mention players that jump from the Championship to the Premier league in recent history have shown to adapt far quicker than those abroad. Castagne at Leicester has failed to make any sort of impact as he did with Atalanta.
  5. Maatsen would be the ideal solution considering he can grow into the team and inevitably replace Alonso moving forward.
  6. We are going to be fleeced from other clubs. If the tear is grade 1 I say recall Maatsen.
  7. He could still be out for only 3 months though? What we do know is that it is in fact his ACL.
  8. So that means its only a partial tear? Meaning 3 months?
  9. If our fears our true I say recall Ian Maatsen. We've already seen how well and quickly both Mount and James adapted to the Premier League, and with Chalobah's emergence you can hope Tuchel's man management will have the same affect on Maatsen.
  10. Obviously we all fear for the worst that it was his ACL but we don't know for sure. Positive news is that Tuchel said Ben felt fine after the match but we do not know the full context of that.
  11. I think it's quite telling how we are more worried for Chilwell than Kante being out with a knee injury. Both he and James are absolutely vital for us.
  12. Doesnt the other club have to agree to send the loan player back to the parent club?
  13. Theres still hope it could be his MCL or just his meniscus. Far less recovery time.
  14. Alonso and Rudiger did a fine job against Salah
  15. Thats what i figured regrading the latter. I fear its his meniscus
  16. Arguably one of the best individual performances I’ve seen in a long time. Reece James bloody hell.
  17. Oh was it? Could of sworn he hurt his knee. Fingers crossed ot is his ankle.
  18. Loads better than someone who just stands there with his arms folded.
  19. If anything he will be under pressure to not make any more absurd officiating decisions. Least one would hope.
  20. That's good to hear. He's well deserving a chance at the moment.
  21. With Havertz out we'd have to play Werner at ST.
  22. He's arguably a safer bet than Zidane and ten Hag.
  23. To be honest I will be surprised if we win here. They are going to shitehouse to levels Burnley and peak Stoke City would be proud of. Best chance is from a moment of magic from one of our wing backs. Mendy Christensen Silva Rudiger James Jorginho Kante Chilwell Mount CHO Havertz
