We need to find some balance. Some members have been spot on regarding what adding Lukaku would do to the team. In this current system, we aren't creating that much with Lukaku up top as opposed to the interchangeable front 3 we had. 433 would work against some sides but we are still incredibly weak in defensive transition given the lack of quality in the DM department. We also don't know if Rudiger, Christensen, Chalobah can perform at their same level in a regular back 4.

Conte under David Luiz still showed massive signs of naivety. The FA Cup final against Arsenal in 2017 immediately comes to mind. Rudiger, Christensen Silva. and Azpilicueta are all incredibly disciplined. He may be fast and great on the ball but I find him incredibly suspect defensively.

From my brief viewing of him, and admittedly its been brief, he is very naïve in dangerous areas. David Luiz like.

But Kai, Werner, and Mount offer a lot more than just goals though? When Lukaku isn’t scoring, what does he offer?

@OneMoSalah I agree but we are losing a lot of our dynamism and fluidity with Lukaku. Chiesa is a goal scorer at the very least.

Hindsight 20/20 but 170 million for both Chiesa and Hakimi would’ve been far better.
