Alonso's season arc was just straight down. He started out oki, but almost every week (with a few decent games smattered in) he regressed. I simply cannot fathom why he is so slow, given his frame and height. If he had same speed as say even Trippier he might be of value, but he is not remotely as pacey as Trippier or Chilwell, etc etc.
