  1. lolol, Ashely and Frank in a 2010 flashback now they need to rocket in Ancelotti for the last 25 minutes
  2. 2 horrid defensive/GK blunders for the Villa goals my Baggie friend is going bonkers Villa going up and Wolves in Europe
  3. I do not think either are ready Tammy looks strong though I would recall him
  4. really puts the heat on as to if we make the move and call up Lamps as manager and Mount as a MFer I really wanted them both to have a full EPL season under their belts before we made to the moves
  5. 2 nil Derby is more than likely fucked Villa have outscored them 9 nil so far this season
  6. half time here are some streams http://www.sportnews.to/events/2019/championship-final-derby-county-vs-aston-villa-s1/# https://www.vipleague.bz/aston-villa-vs-derby-county-streaming-link-1 https://www.ronaldo7.net/video/manchester-live/manchester-free-live-streaming.html
  7. Of the 11 highest, 8 were Pep teams, one was Conte (top spot), one was Mancini (10th), and one was ZZ (tied for 5th). Mo also had the 13th highest. CIES Football Observatory n°264 - 27/05/2019 Highlights More and more points needed to be champions What is the percentage of points needed to win the title in the five major European leagues? Issue number 264 of the CIES Football Observatory Weekly Post answers this question for the last twenty seasons. The analysis reveals a progressive increase in the percentage of points achieved by champions. On average, big-5 league champions obtained 69.9% of points for the five-season period between 1999/2000 and 2003/2004. This percentage went up to 73.9% during the following lustrum, to 77.7% between 2010 and 2014, and again up to 80.5% for the last five seasons. This reflects an ongoing trend towards competitive imbalance. The record figure overall was registered for Juventus in 2013/14: 89.5% of points. At the other extreme is Olympique Lyonnais in 2002/03: 59.6%. All 2018/19 big-5 league champions achieved at least three quarters of points: from 86.0% for Manchester City (second highest score in the English Premier League history) to 76.3% for Barcelona. Highest % of points achieved by big-5 league champions, since 2000
  8. In all fairness a Ç is pronounced as a hard CH.
  9. Modric's Ballon d'Or was 100% WC and RM winning three CL's in a row (and that was much more CR7 IMHO) One of the worst Ballon d'Or winners in my lifetime IMHO. Jean-Pierre Papin was before I was born. Michael Owen was probably a weaker one than Modric (he didnt even score 20 league goals in 2000-1, in fact he NEVER scored 20 league goals in a season, Raul got fucked that year)
  10. 65' Goal! Atalanta 3, Sassuolo 1. Mario Pasalic (Atalanta) header from the right side of the six yard box to the bottom right corner. Assisted by Alejandro Gómez with a cross following a corner. Mario Pasalic I sooo think we should recall him if the bans remain 8 goals, 7 assists in only 2000 minutes, and played every position in the MF That said, I am positive he will try everything to stay perm at Atalanta as they now have CL
  11. holy fuck Inter almost blew it Empoli missed two more sitters at the death FT 2 1 If anyone gets a chance to watch the last 15, 20 minutes I so advise it pure madness
  12. the craziness is back goal pulled back and inter got a red card for Keita Balde pulling a shirt still 2 1
  13. 3 1 Inter, Brozovic scored on an empty goal from the middle of the field down goes Empoli and AC Milan is out of the CL
  14. this is one of the craziest last 10 minutes of a game I have seen all year Empoli have hit the post twice and failed on another sitter Inter have missed two
  15. 2 1 Inter Nainggolan just scored as it stand AC Milan is now out of the CL Atalanta is up 3 1, so they are in and Sassuolo are down to 9 men
  16. Inter just coughed up a goal, so 1 1 against a near bottom of the table Empoli (who if they lose they are probably relegated) Icardi missed a pen and was pulled to massive booing and jeers If it ends in a draw or Inter lose, they are out of of the CL (Atalanta and AC Milan in) here is a stream probably 16 minutes left including stoppage time https://www.vipleague.bz/inter-milan-vs-empoli-streaming-link-1
  17. The Championship playoff Final: Get ready for the richest game in sports http://www.espn.co.uk/football/english-league-championship/0/blog/post/3860320/championship-playoff-final-aston-villa-and-derby-county-play-for-keeps-in-sports-richest-game It is the most lucrative one-off fixture in the sporting world, with the financial windfall for the winning team a staggering £170 million -- three times more than the combined value of winning the Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup. The monetary jackpot vastly overshadows that which comes with winning the Super Bowl ($6.25m), NBA Finals ($3.3m) or World Series ($30.4m), but the flip side of the EFL Championship playoff is that the losers not only end up with nothing, they also see the door to the riches of the Premier League slam shut in their face. On Monday, Aston Villa will play Derby County at Wembley (live on ESPN+ at 9:55 a.m.) for the glory of winning the richest game in team sport. Villa, relegated from the Premier League in 2016, were beaten by Fulham in last season's final, while Derby, who lost to Queen's Park Rangers in the 2014 final, are attempting to return to the top division for the first time since 2008. They are two of English football's best-supported clubs; Villa's average home crowd this season (36,029) was the 10th highest in the country, while Derby's average of 26,850 was higher than six Premier League teams. And Villa have won more league titles and cups than Manchester City -- and lifted a European Cup in 1982. There's also an intriguing subplot for the pair: two former Chelsea teammates and legends will be in opposite dugouts on Monday. Frank Lampard is the manager of Derby, while John Terry is Dean Smith's assistant at Villa. The pair won four Premier Leagues together at Stamford Bridge, along with four FA Cups, two League Cups, the Champions League and Europa League. But only one of them will secure a passport back to the Premier League on Monday. The losers get nothing more than heartache and the prospect of another season in the second tier, with fixtures against Barnsley and Brentford, rather than Manchester United and Liverpool, to look forward to. snip
  18. He has the skillset and talent, but really lacks the ruthlessness of players like Messi and CR7.
  19. You do realise that next season is Hazard's last full one under 30yo? Mbappe is basically a full 8 years his junior (Mbappe was still a teenager 5 months ago, which is just crazy when you think about what he has already done, he is streets beyond CR7, Messi, etc at their ages). He has played a shit tonne of minutes over the last 10 years (around 40,000) with 7 of those being beaten on relentlessly in the EPL where he has been the most fouled player by far in the league since he came in. Sooner or later that wear and tear will catch up to his body. La Liga is the softest league of the big 5, so he does have that going for him. If he is going to win the Ballon d'Or it probably will have to happen next season or the one after. His explosive will start to erode once he is over 30 (his 3rd season at RM).
  20. just had a superb assist against Lazio on a counter (and he is playing LB due to injuries) https://www.vipleague.bz/torino-vs-lazio-streaming-link-1
  21. https://www.goal.com/en/news/europa-league-concern-for-chelsea-as-kante-suffers-injury/mtj417vz2fxf1xv1m41xr2bkg Maurizio Sarri had indicated last week that he was optimistic the Franceinternational could play a part in the game against the Gunners, so the injury comes as a blow and he will now have to consider alternative arrangements. Indeed, Kante is not the only concern for Sarri in the build up to the all-Premier League encounter in Baku, with Jorginho also sustaining a knock in last week's open training session.
