I think he is shit incredibly poor signings and no overarching tenor or tone to the direction of the club

damn, Georginio Wijnaldum is on fire already on a hat trick

I disagree but opinions will vary my suggestion is to watch 2 games from midseason last year then two of the last 4 or 5 games and just zoom in on Jorginho I see a difference, he is more aggressive this year, and is not afraid to move into a more forward position, and also seems to me to be more consistent in his defence I have grown to love him as a MF shame he isnt 22 or 23, as that would mean 8 or 9 or so great years

its 3 months and yes, especially due to positional play due to formations and repetitive coaching in cricket a good batting coach can sort out a long time pro player in a few weeks, same with bowlers same for yank baseball for both batting and pitching its a combo of things from Lamps, Jorginho had been stuck under the old smoker for ages I absolutely believe Lamps has already helped him become more well rounded

Sarri greatly improved Kante's all-round game, and now Lamps is doing the same for Jorginho it isn't rocket science and Kante, even though he has never been truly healthy yet this year, has been allowed to go back and be a bit more of a disruptor Rudiger and Emerson coming back fit and Reece developing and playing more will help our defence loads, as will a fully fit Kante, and eventually Reece supplanting Azpi next summer we need to grab a WC (top 7 to 10) CB and WC LB, bin Zouma, bin Alonso, bin Azpi (buy a decent backup RB or maybe just keep Azpi, I am not arsed so much as long as Reece blows up), grab a WC winger or two (depending on how Pulisic and CHO are doing, plus Willian and Pedro need to be (one for sure) shit canned), decide on Bats, and if thumbs down, grab Dembele from Lyon and last but not least, bin Barkley and grab a great young DMF instead ...........Eduardo Camavinga would be an insanely good buy there (if he tracks out as it looks, he is an eventual first team or 2nd team all world XI someday, the lad is Mbappe level young freak good almost, albeit at a different position and different skillset, or go for Florentino from Benfica (Shitty want him BAD) OR go the vet route and pull Thomas from Atleti (every time I see him he is close to the best player on the pitch, one of the most underrated superstars in global footie, streets beyond Casemiro IMHO, and I rate Casemiro a bit) again, not rocket science, none of it is and we will have at a bare minimum 400 to 450m fucking quid stacked up to do it, and potentially closer to or over £500m if we play the old cards right

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7566017/Yes-Manchester-United-horror-story-Ed-Woodward-needs-fired.html OLIVER HOLT - CHIEF SPORTS WRITER: Under the aegis of the Glazer family, Manchester United have become a giant, suppurating mess of a football club. Blinded by the pursuit of cash, the club fleeces its fans and rakes in record revenues even as the team flails. The idea Old Trafford remains a Theatre of Dreams has become a joke. For some time, it has played host to a pageant of the mediocre and the dire. As United flounder in mid-table and approach the latest staging post in their fall from grace with the visit of reborn Liverpool next Sunday, speculation continues to grow about the future of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his replacement if he is fired. You've heard the names: Julian Nagelsmann, Massimiliano Allegri and Mauricio Pochettino have all been mentioned as candidates. It is said that if United lose to Jurgen Klopp's side at Old Trafford next Sunday, Solskjaer fears he will be sacked by the club's hapless executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward but, amid the chaos at the club, one truth remains. That is that it is Woodward who should be sacked. The truth, actually, is that he should have been sacked, or moved aside, long ago.

Christian Pulisic sends defiant message over his form despite lack of Chelsea playing time The 21-year-old has had a lack of playing time with the Blues https://www.football.london/chelsea-fc/players/christian-pulisic-chelsea-lampard-usa-17067067 Christian Pulisic is ready to put his Chelsea woes behind him and just focus on his upcoming USA fixtures this week. It has been a tough start to life with the Blues for the 21-year-old, having not played any minutes in the Premier League and Champions League in September. The winger played his first Premier League minutes since August 31, coming on as a substitute and getting an impressive assist for his former Borussia Dortmund team-mate Michy Batshuayi against Southampton. Pulisic has dropped down the pecking order of starting wingers behind Callum Hudson-Odoi and Willian, with Mason Mount also starting on the left wing. Frank Lampard is looking for even more from his £58million signing, so that he can push his way back into the starting XI in west London. Pulisic is with his national team for two CONCACAF Nations League matches against Cuba and Canada, and the winger feels like he is exactly where he needs to be right now. "I feel the best I ever have. I feel very confident in my game. I’m not going to let any of that affect me," Pulisic said ahead of the game with Cuba. "I feel very strong, and I’m really looking forward to this game (on) Friday. snip

Walker being a spud played a role, I am sure, and yes, he would have been an upgrade over Azpi (mainly on offence and mainly the last 2 plus seasons, which is when I first started to see Azpi decline, starting that last Conte season) but cannot be arsed over him that much at all fuck Stones and Danilo, nothing special there, and if Pep cannot elevate Stones play (I do not think Stones is a WC CB at all atm, plus is so injury prone) who can? the one player they got (besides obviously de Bruyne) that broke my heart was Bernardo, and you can add in Laporte too (his value is being shown now, as they are fucked at the back without him) I would take a healthy Laporte over Skriniar and Romagoli, in fact if we are talking picking any CB's in the world, for just this one year and next (so 2 seasons and done), the only two I would take over a healthy Laporte would be van Dijk and Koulibaly (it is simple with them in terms of the 2 years, as next season is both their last under 30 years old, they are almost the exact same age, KK is 18 days older), with José Giménez rounding out my top 4 in the world atm I desperately, after Mbappe, wanted Bernardo the most off that 2016-17 Monaco superteam, but nope, we went for Donkeybaka (full disclosure, I was thrilled when we bought him, he was my biggest mistake ever probably in terms of scouting talent)

damn, another injury
