IF they sell Lucas Hernandez to PSG they can buy Havetz, but that leaves then utterly fucked at CB, especially if Alaba leaves as well they would be down to Niklas Süle injured still Jérôme Boateng soon 32 and a shadow of what he was 5, 6 years ago Lars Lukas Mai 20yo reserve player Benjamin Pavard (more of a RB than a hi-end CB)

Hearts begin legal action against SPFL as Premiership relegation is confirmed https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/jun/15/hearts-legal-action-spfl-relegation-scottish-premiership Plan to restructure leagues failed to receive enough support Now all other avenues are closed, we are left with no choice’ Hearts have started legal action against the Scottish Professional Football League after the collapse of reconstruction talks sealed their relegation from the top flight. The club will pursue several million pounds worth of damages from the SPFL, a matter amplified by the 2020-21 Championship being reduced to a 27-game season. Legal challenges to the abandonment of league seasons in France and Belgium have also strengthened Hearts’ resolve. Hearts were four points adrift with eight fixtures to play when coronavirus halted the season. A subsequent, highly controversial SPFL vote allowed its board to determine placings as final. After that transpired, expanding the Premiership from 12 to 14 teams was widely discussed but never thought likely to receive the necessary level of support. That route was formally shut down by the SPFL on Monday, with Hearts, having had QC’s working quietly on their case for a number of weeks and due to submit papers to Edinburgh’s court of session within the next 48 hours, wasting no time in confirming their next step. “Now that all other avenues are closed, we are left with no choice but to proceed with a legal challenge,” Hearts said in a statement. “The club has tried throughout these last few months to avoid this course of action but we must now do the right thing by our supporters, our employees, our players and our sponsors, all of whom have been unwavering in their commitment and support. We can hold our heads up high as we have acted at all times with integrity, common sense and with the best interests of Scottish football at heart. “While many weeks have been wasted in trying to find a solution, we must now formally challenge this outcome. The club can confirm that the necessary steps have been taken to begin this legal challenge. Given that this is now an active legal matter, the club will be offering no further comment at this time. snip

I think this is usually true for all but the VERY top players (ie CR7, Messi, Mbappe, Neymar, etc etc types, ie the ones we are never going to sign simply becuase we cannot afford their wage demands) I am happy to see it doesn't apparently matter to Werner

ALABA IS ALSO IN THE SIGHTS OF PSG https://rmcsport.bfmtv.com/football/mercato-alaba-serait-aussi-dans-le-viseur-du-psg-1933815.html PSG, who are following closely the evolution of Lucas Hernandez, substitute at Bayern Munich, would keep an eye on one of his teammates, the Austrian David Alaba, according to Sky Germany. The PSG has made Lucas Hernandez his priority in his defense, according to information from RMC Sport. But another Bayern Munich player would also be in his sights. With the scheduled departures of several players in the defensive sector, including Layvin Kurzawa and especially Thiago Silva , the needs are known. They are located in central defense and on the left side in particular, two positions that David Alaba is capable of covering. The 27-year-old Austrian international, left back, has been repositioned by his coach in the central sector of an airtight Bavarian defense, the best in the Bundesliga. A contract that ends in 2021 PSG would, according to Sky Germany , have expressed interest in the entourage of David Alaba, whose contract ends in 2021. And who, according to the latest news, had not yet extended his adventure in Bavaria. "We will see that in the coming weeks," said the 27-year-old defender at the microphone of Sky Germany, rather confident about an extension, last month. "I am focused on the essentials. We have not set a deadline," he added. Can PSG take advantage of it? Bayern wants to keep him Two factors would oppose the Parisian designs. First of all, David Alaba would always have preferred Spain as a destination in the context of a departure. Then Bayern Munich wants to keep him. Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has been confident lately, saying the parties will be around the table only after the championship is over. Bayern are seven points ahead of their closest chaser, heading for an eighth straight Bundesliga title.

LUCAS HERNANDEZ, THE PSG PRIORITY https://rmcsport.bfmtv.com/football/mercato-le-psg-s-interesse-a-lucas-hernandez-1933640.html PSG, which will have to strengthen on the defensive level this summer with the departure, in particular, of Thiago Silva, has made Frenchman Lucas Hernandez his priority. The player is not insensitive to Parisian interest, but negotiations with Bayern do not look simple. Another 2018 world champion in Paris? As announced by Cadena Ser, PSG would like to repatriate Frenchman Lucas Hernandez . The capital club has even made the former Atlético player its summer priority in defence. In reality, Paris has even been interested in the Marseille native for several seasons. The French champion club had tried to recover the player before he went to Bayern Munich in the summer of 2019 . Today, PSG wants to activate on the defender but faces the will of the German club not to drop Hernandez at a price lower than that which it cost, that is to say 80 million euros. PSG think it's worth less, especially after their cruciate ligament injury. Lucas yes, Théo no The 24-year-old did not adapt to Germany and is thinking more and more about a departure. He is not unmoved by the interest of Paris Saint-Germain, which will begin discussions with Bayern Munich in the coming days. If Spanish radio has also mentioned an interest in his brother Theo Hernandez (22, AC Milan), PSG is on the other hand less hot on this profile, even if he is looking for a left side. The player's price, around 50 million euros, appears to be prohibitive for the French club.

Not the first window we have been linked with him. He dominates in the Championship at times, but not completely sold he can do it at the big boy table.

Former Arsenal and Chelsea star Ashley Cole mercilessly trolls Tottenham Ashley Cole made quite the comeback as a Spurs fan tried to moch Arsenal https://www.football.london/arsenal-fc/former-arsenal-chelsea-star-ashley-18417707 The 38-year-old was in conversation with former Brighton striker, Leon Knight and acknowledged one weak area in his game when he was a teenager. One Lilywhite took the opportunity to have a dig at Arsenal. He said: "Probably why you were so desperate to leave Arsenal their youth development must have been atrocious given that you only picked that up at 19."

RB Leipzig provide Timo Werner to Chelsea transfer update with striker's £53m release clause set to expire https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/rb-leipzig-timo-werner-chelsea-transfer-update-striker-53m-release-clause-a4469006.html RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann has confirmed Timo Werner is poised to depart the club as Chelsea close in on their second summer signing. The Blues are expected to wrap up Werner's signing this week as Frank Lampard, with his £53m release clause due to expire on Monday. "I do not expect Timo to be here next season," Nagelsmann told DAZN at the weekend. Werner will become the second man through the door at Chelsea this summer, following the signing of Hakim Ziyech from Ajax which was confirmed in February

in 2018, the summer Federico Chiesa (was my first RW choice when I joined the board 2 and a half years ago, and I came in then saying sell Willian) or I would have went for a high quality left footed player for RW Mikel Oyarzabal Pablo Sarabia Ziyech (ironically) Leon Bailey (has rebounded nicely since he came back from injury, I still rate him and he has ditched some of his trouble-making yardie posse) Suso (coming off a 20 goals-produced season for a shit AC Milan team back then) Pepe was much.much much cheaper then too (pre breakout year but still was coming off a good 14 goal campaign) and, tbf as a backup left-footer I did mention (when I joined) Domenico Berardi, who we could have had for pennies and certainly would have been a bit more creative (not that I think he was starting material, just a player I liked on the cheap who had multiple great games I saw, and has averaged (over a 40 game all comps season, 14, or so goals a year and 9 assists per year for 8 years on shit Sassuolo teams and is still now only 25 years of age), I think most of those are decent, and most would have certainly produced more goals overall than Willian, and certainly none would have cost £65m but its all water under the dam the damage is done money wise IF we add no more wingers/forwards (ie Havertz or anyone else) then I hate to say it, but we really should renew Willian (2 years, take it or leave it) as we have only 2 pure wingers, both injury prone, plus Ziyech RLC at winger is a joke (Sarri can go fuck off) if we are reduced to using him as a winger and then Azpi at LB, plus no CB adds at all we are in deep shit, dont care about Werner or Ziyech, as our defence is jacked up, especially if we get slammed with injuries again, and Azpi at LB KILLS out left side attack and RLC, if he is forced to play RW or (god forbid) LW ,is also meh out wide, especially if it is him and Azpi on the left we are still a very complicated team I do not envy Lampard at all Havertz for me is Tammy insurance plus a lot more but I really worry about the defence more, and injuries its great and all that Frank loves the 4 main CB's we have, but ffs, they do not play well enough, all have big flaws (as well as strengths) and too often the flaws burn us maybe he really is a genius and he gets all 4 up to superb level and I look a fool lets all hope so like I said (and have been saying all season) we are probably the hardest team to sort out that also has potentially INSANE talent that the others do not, especially on the EPL, plus we are carrying a CRAZY amount of dregs under contract. That shit is fucking us up and has been for ages now. I am SO sick of hearing the names Álvaro Morata (Done Soon thank fuck) Mario Pasalic (Done Soon) Tiemoué Bakayoko Emerson Ross Barkley Michy Batshuayi Davide Zappacosta Danny Drinkwater Abdul Rahman Baba Victor Moses Kenedy Marco van Ginkel Juan Familia-Castillo (Done Soon probably as Ajax have an option to buy) Nathan Charly Musonda Jr. Danilo Pantic Matt Miazga Lewis Baker Jamal Blackman Lucas Piazón Jake Clarke-Salter Izzy Brown Josh Grant Richard Nartey Luke McCormick Jacob Maddox get them off the fucking books most are utter dogshit NIGHTMARE

please stop calling me bro or I am not going to reply to you anymore I am a 27yo cis-gendered female and although I am a lesbian, I am very much NOT a bro or a stud or a dyke or a butch in any way, shape or form, I am very very feminine other than my mouth and bad temper (I get that from my Bajan mum, her family is bonkers and I got part of the crazy genes) My bark is far worse than my bite. Sarri is not the only manager who would love to have Jorginho I think you vastly underrate the bloke he is a class act and a really good player and a great leader as long as we fill in our weaknesses (LB, 2 CB's, a crunching DMF, and Havertz (hopefully, as I think he is a going to be a superb CF eventually and I do NOT trust Tammy to renew, plus Havertz and Werner as a front two is just insane as an option) I have zero issues with him staying on the team, he is a great player to guide Gilmour. in certain types of games he can be a dominant player

those are amongst the most reputable, no nonsense journos who cover Chels, Barca and transfers people are free to want to think it all never happened that every single Chels attempted move was fashioned out of whole cloth (like Alex Sandro attempts over multiple windows) all of it was all just made up shite, that we never turned down a decent offer before, since Roman bought the team that the board has a spotless record. that we not only never lost any money on poor deals, non deals, poor buys, poor contractual management, but that we always buy low, sell high, and that our scouting department never makes mistakes that the only reason we lost almost £100m fiscal year 2018-19 was because punters didn't buy enough David Luiz inflatable bath toys (even on 50% off sale prices) I chose to live in reality as I see it

my breakdown Havertz has been bottled up, his teammates ( Moussa Diaby and Nadiem Amiri) are far too central, so all the players on Schalke are sagging in on him Alario is not a very active CF, too static I have to say, overall, Bayer's 4 2 3 1 looks a lot like ours when we are having issues versus a flat back 4 the off ball movement, other than Havertz, is poor
