a big problem with Murillo is his height and aerial defence it is why Forest pair him with the giant 1.95m Nikola Milenković, and also now with the even taller (1.97m) Jair Cunha, plus their 4th CB, the 1.92m Jair Morato Murillo was falsely listed at 1.84m (which is hardly a tall CB to begin with, and even that I questioned) but now is offically listed at only 1.80m https://www.nottinghamforest.co.uk/players/murillo/ he also is much better in a counter attacking set-up (deffo not our style most of the time) and his passing accuracy can be suspect at times finally (and I want to stress I DO rate him, just not at a 'he is the best left-footed CB out there' level) he would cost an insane amount of money, especially this late in the window

only left-footed CB who interests me and he is not coming here we got fucked by a bigger club when Real Madrid beat us to the other CB I wanted (and he is ambipedal and can play anywhere at CB, left, right, middle) If I could have any two CBs on the planet for my starting XI.......... there you go

Cole Palmer set for scan on groin this Tuesday The Blues talisman missed the West Ham game on Friday https://siphillipstalkschelsea.substack.com/p/sources-cole-palmer-set-for-scan Cole Palmer was set to start against West Ham on Friday night right up until the warm ups when he just felt too uncomfortable to play in the end and had to drop out. Of course, panic ensued amongst the Chelsea fan base who had to wait for Enzo Maresca to try and reassure them after the game confirming that Palmer had a problem with his groin. The gaffer said after the game: "Cole was not 100 percent in the last few days, he tried in the warm-up to play but he was not right. We will see how bad it is. He was already not 100 percent against Palace but he tried to make an effort for the club, fans and team." SPTC Sources understand that the plan was for Palmer to get through the West Ham game, miss training, and then go for a scan. Palmer then prepared for the game in pain and was dosed up on painkillers. But he was unfortunately just too sore to play. Off the back of this, we’ve heard Palmer will now have a scan on his groin this coming Tuesday to determine the full extent of any issue. Until we know these result we will not know how long to expect Palmer to be out for. However, initial belief is that it could be around 4-6 weeks. This is NOT the final diagnosis - we will not get that until he is scanned and the results come in. It could be a lot less than 4-6 weeks or it could be more. We’ll need to wait and see if the initial forecast ends up being correct or not. Either way, I’ll be shocked if Palmer now ends up going on international duty whatever the results show up. Chelsea will be keen to get him rested and fully recovered.

Chelsea willing to accept certain loan deal for Nico Jackson but Christopher Nkunku must be permanent Blues pushing to sell both players this week and can then move on Xavi Simons and Alejandro Garnacho https://siphillipstalkschelsea.substack.com/p/sources-Chelsea-willing-to-accept It is set to be a very busy end to the summer transfer window for Chelsea as we are about to enter to last 7 days of it. We are even forecasting a busy transfer deadline day and expect some drama coming up. The club still need to make a number of sales across the board this week and are busy working on outgoing deals for a chunk of the squad. The two biggest ones they want to move on this week is Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson. Once those two are off the books, there will be more wiggle room to get deals done to sign both of Xavi Simons and Alejandro Garnacho, two incomings the club still want to get done next week. It could all go down to the wire now though. First and foremost, we need to sell Jackson and Nkunku. SPTC Sources have heard this weekend that Chelsea have told interested clubs that they are willing to accept a loan deal for Jackson. However, any loan deal HAS to contain an obligation to buy and not an option. This allows clubs who are struggling with the financial rules to not have any big spend this year and bank roll it over to next year allowing them more time to balance the fee with more sales and profit making themselves. With Nkunku though, we have heard Chelsea are a lot less willing to do any sort of loan deal and have told clubs that they want a permanent transfer only. At the moment, the club are talking to MANY clubs for both players and said players have their agents in talks with MANY clubs as well. Premier League and European clubs are working on deals to sign both players. Both sales can advance quick and neither are short of suitors. So hopefully we will see them both speed up very soon now.
