(Video): Frank Lampard talks about Armando Broja’s quality https://www.Chelsea-news.co/2022/02/video-frank-lampard-talks-about-armando-brojas-quality/ Frank Lampard got an important win in his new role as Everton manager last weekend against Leeds, and he’s now got to follow it up against Southampton this weekend. One man who will be out to stop him is Armando Broja, who’s tearing it up for the Saints recently. Lamps was asked what he made of the striker, who was still in the youth ranks when he was manager. He said he was well aware of his quality, and knew Everton would have a job on their hands keeping him off the scoresheet. You can see the former Chelsea boss speaking in the clip embedded here:

watched him earlier v Juve, he was a beast in a 1 1 draw at Juve Former player suggests £25m defender is perfect for Chelsea, the Blues have reportedly scouted him already https://www.thechelseachronicle.com/club-news/former-player-suggests-25m-defender-is-perfect-for-Chelsea-the-blues-have-reportedly-scouted-him-already/ Former Torino defender Ezio Ross has named Chelsea as one of the ideal next destinations for Gleison Bremer. Speaking to TuttoJuve, Ross suggested that Stamford Bridge could house Bremer extremely well if he ever fancied a move to the Premier League. Why is Gleison grabbing all the attention? It probably won’t be long before the current Torino centre-back heads over to England. His performances for the Serie A side have certainly been attracting interest from British shores, as well as those stationed across Europe. Newcastle United reportedly made a £25m (Corriere Granata) offer to sign the 24-year-old last month, but saw their advances rejected. Instead, Torino confirmed that Bremer had signed a new deal, keeping him in Turin until at least 2024. Of course, this timeline could be hindered if another, arguably even bigger club that Newcastle come wading in with the cash. Perhaps Juventus for example, who have been linked to the Brazilian already this season. However, Ross adamantly advised Bremer to look past the Old Lady and link up with a new, younger model. “He is a very good defender. (Torino coach Ivan) Juric has improved him considerably. Only compliments!” he said. “Bremer is not for Juve; he’s for Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester, Inter!” Bremer in blue? It is perhaps no surprise that Chelsea make it onto the list. After all, they reportedly scouted Bremer in December, eager to locate replacements for one of their potentially departing defenders. Not much has been mentioned since about a possible switch to South West London. Such conversations shouldn’t be ruled out over the summer, as the Blues will most likely be in the market for another centre-half. There remains a strong chance that at least one of Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen or Cesar Azpilicueta shall wave farewell to Cobham and all its assets. Maybe then Ross’ hopes for Bremer will come true. he came from one of the Brasilian giants, Atlético Mineiro, to Torino in 2018

Many of he Man U supporters I know in real life (and a majority of these are actual Mancunians in terms of origin) are absolute knobs (knowledgeable knobs, but knobs all the same) when it comes to football and also when it comes to London as a city (no shock there, lol, most of the UK hates our city, same as other nations with their capitals), although not nearly as much as poxy Scousers. so your mileage may vary Btw, one of my best Manc mates moved back to Manchester (we went to uni in London together, and he was working in Aarhus (Denmark) for a couple of years), and he is a decent bloke, we just have crazy banter over footie, but it never gets personal (has come close, lolol).

I know this is so not a 'Vesper' thing (older (just turned 33yo) player, and a semi-desperation move) but shit, it would have been nice to pick up Ivan Perišić in January for LWB he was one of the few Inter players who gave Pool some serious trouble at times he has been reborn at that position, and he is deffo a winner ( 9 topflight trophies (3 league titles and a CL included) and counting, plus WC runner up where he played a monster role) and an old head who doesn't get rattled

do not care just wanted to see those players v a great team

1 1 FT Bayern owe Pavrd a double weeks pay for that block
-
Bayern look poor, even Lewa has been locked down on edit of course they score now
-
really should be 2 nil, what a last minute block by Pavard
-
Salzburg are doing with multiple key players out too often starting LB Bernardo, CB Bryan Okoh, CF Sekou Koita, CF Benjamin Sesko starting CMF Luka Sucic (a great young 19yo Croatian who I really wanted to see) plus 4 other reserves plus starting CF Noah Okafor getting injured in-game early
-
they have five CF's all so young
-
Okafor went off injured, and another young CF, Adamu, scored
