It was the Oscar deal, I was watching skysports news earlier and they were saying about it and using "biggest transfer" and all words like that. Myth dispelled.

Why don't we keep ivanovic as first choice right back and use Todd Kane as our back up right back? May as well at least try Todd in pre-season and see if he's up to the job but last season for youth team and reserves he was VERY good and I think a perfectly good back up right back, we always say we want to use our youngsters so this is a perfect opportunity.

This may be the end of the Hulk saga. I'm not convinced he would come to sit on the bench, he's pretty ambitious. Not sure what I think, might be a real masterstroke of a move, he played very well last season for Wigan.

You really think we would spend the money without thinking about FFP? I think 38 mil for a 25 year old who is the finished article and we'll get 5/6 years out of is a good deal, especially as he can be used a back up striker too. Look we could've given him until the end of the season and he could've subbed sturridge for malouda every game and he could've carried on being a shit manager and we could've definitely ended up finishing fifth and being out of FA cup and champions league. He said about 3 times he'd found a way to turn it around blah blah against tottenham he'd found a big change and then he obviously realised he didn't have a fucking clue and started talking about next seasons project. I no longer expect us to win when I watch us play and that is thanks to AVB (and obviously also the players but to be honest he was the one making some really fucking stupid decisions and substituting our best players) he evidently wasn't ready for the step up to this club and we can all chalk it off as a failed experiment, now someone can try and save our season and get someone in next season and give him a dickload of money to get us successful again.
