Yep. I also made it my goal to avoid anything and everything to do with our youth team but that's virtually impossible with this current crop. Don't get me wrong Costa is fantastic but I'm not sure he's suited to these sort of games up on his own, where you're pretty much relying on individual brilliance. Jose needs to switch it up at times, 442 with either Remy/Drogba pairing him would be a great alternative.

Matic has gotten burned by other players plenty of times. The goal was because of Cahill shitness, nothing more. Mikel had a very good game, was one of our better players.

He's an excellent poacher but lacks alot of individual quality and technical ability in comparison to the aforementioned strikers (Drogba, Suarez, Torres, Rooney, Henry, Aguero). Has nothing to do with me kneejerking. Hope Drogba and Remy get more gametime.

Cesc isn't a factor in this debate because he's in both teams remember? Anyway this isn't really much a contest, this is easily their best squad since like 03/04. The likes of Ramsey, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Gibbs, Ozil, Sanchez, Cazorla would walk into their past teams.

This is their best squad since the Invincibles era. Cesc led far worse teams to better positions.

They'd be 2nd in the League with Cesc.

How the hell are people voting Willian for MoTM? Cesc was head and shoulders above everyone else on the pitch today. Willian was very good though. Excellent team performance.

There's absolutely no way on earth Ledley fucking King, Adams, Vidic, Rio Ferdinand or Stam etc were better peak wise than JT. That's just ludicrous. He's the only defender in over 20 years to win PFA player of the Year for a reason. 04-06 JT was something else, those back injuries meant he's had to alter his game but what a player he was in those years.
