What does Baker have to do to get minutes?

Salah and Schurrle have both been awful but they're much better players than they're showing. Wouldn't mind if Salah was shipped off though, the likes of Brown, Musonda and Boga should be getting his minutes. Oscar shouldn't have started this game. This was a game for Baker.

As poor as he was yesterday, we were far poorer without him on the pitch. As soon as he came off we couldn't keep hold of the ball. That said, his passing in the final 3rd really annoys me. I mea even simple passes he was getting wrong. Kroos is "slow" and "immobile" as well and would have dominated that game yesterday. Still can't believe how shocking he was yesterday up against average footballers like Fellaini and Blind. His minimal influence on the game affected the entire team.

Are people still mentioning his miss yesterday? He should have finished it but the king scored mere seconds later, it mattered little in all honesty. If he'd taken a extra touch he would have scored but that was clever play by De Gea (raising his left hand) to try and put him off. He's been by far our best player in the big games this season and our only real threat against City, Arsenal and United. Even Neville who's constantly critiqued his performances in these sort of matches acknowledged that yesterday. He's playing at an extremely high level this season and looks much hungrier, the goals will eventually follow. He usually takes a little while into the season for him to start scoring anyway. In his last season at Lille he scored just 4 goals in the first 15 games and 16 in his last 23. Last season he only started to get going around November before that injury ended his and our season. He's going to explode goals wise fairly soon. Trust me. ‘He had initiative. He’s showing that in big matches – to take responsibility, to get the ball and try to create. Bale is a donkey. Hazard is clearly a class above, put him in that Madrid team and he would score just as much.

Yep. Reus has to be the target this summer. Like Eden he can play any of the three positions behind the striker.

Have a feeling he'll leave for Madrid in a season or two. Jose has done wonders for his mentality and desire this season but stylistically we aren't getting the best out of him. He should have seen way more of the ball than he did today. He also made about 2 or 3 good runs into the box today but we didn't play him in. I specifically remember Drogba playing a shit pass on a counter in the 1st half and Oscar with an awfully weighted pass in the 2nd that took him away from the goal when he was isolated. Oscar and Willian aren't doing him any favours in all honesty. Those two are as uncreative as it gets in the final 3rd.

Awful performance. You see how Kroos and Modric performed this past week in big games and then Cesc plays like that. He along with Drogba tiring were the biggest reasons we couldn't keep hold of the ball as soon as Oscar went off. Hazard was on fire but because he went into hiding he didn't get enough of the ball. Needs to impose himself more in these games, average against City, Arsenal, Everton and United. Matic was equally poor in the 1st but came out all guns blazing in the 2nd while Fabregas barely recovered bar a 20 minute spell.

His hold up play tonight was exceptional, obviously tired as the game went on but unfortunately no alternatives on the bench. It's a disgrace that a 36 year old played better than pretty much every player on that pitch bar Hazard and Courtois.

He's better than Di Maria and that debate is done & dusted now. Playing at an extremely high level this season but it's just not clicking for him in the final 3rd. Best in the League.

Anyway, Matic (2nd half), Drogba, Courtois and Hazard were all very good. Everyone else played below par.

This isn't a point gained either. Just like the City game wasn't a point gained. No idea why people keep saying that. City were down to 10 men while United are in horrid form and were there for the taking.

Ivanovic should know better and made a fucking stupid play but why do we keep sitting back in these games? Go for the 2nd goal while we have them on the ropes ffs.
