Hearing rumours of him being available for a measly 15m this summer. What are we waiting for? He'll come here in an instant too with all the Brazilian and Spanish lads we have at the club.
-
Very good player but he isn't good enough for a title contender. Hazard and Mata are already better players and Oscar will surpass him as well this time next year.

#TeamProtectTorres Any other members out there, seems to have loads of haters on here.

How is Ramos overrated? The lad is f***ing immense and I'd give anything to have him here, he has absolutely no weakness, 2nd best CB in the World! I can literally watch the lad defend all day. Complete defender.
-
Pique's overrated because he's had a season where he's been forced to partner Adriano, Mascherano and an inexperienced player like Batra? Give him a solid partner and he's immense. Dante lol. He has the easiest job in football playing for the most organized team in the League. Next you're going to tell me Jerome Boateng is World Class. And I said players of his ilk which means ball playing CB's like Barzagli not monsters like Chiellini.

Livermore and Gibson are both Championship level plodders. McEachran is fairly talented, you don't get a fair amount of playing time for a massive club like Chelsea at only 16 if you're not talented. Ancelotti was raving about him early on and Mata is on record saying he was the player he was most impressed with on his first week here. I follow the lad on twitter and he seems pretty content to collect his wages, shag his famous bird and go on a night out rather than take his profession seriously. That extra hard work, determination and desire is the difference in being either a Ronaldo and Lampard or a Quaresma and Jody Morris. Looks like he's another Jody.

She's an ugly slag fam. Nothing special about her apart from her lesbian gf on Corrie.
-
Lampard wasn't "good enough" at West Ham. Hard work and determination will always get you far. He has excellent vision, awareness, ball control and a great change of pace. He isn't some Livermore or Gibson ffs, he's actually talented.

Oscar > Neymar. Overrated.
-
Butterface.Disgusting attitude from the lad though. Two years of potential progress gone down the drain. I mean this is the same guy that was being compared with Wilshere not too long ago. Could have had a decent career here but wasted it for a celeb life. I just watched a brief 5 minute compilation of one of his games at Boro and he's still ALL left foot. I mean absolutely no attempt to improve on his weak foot whatsoever.

No chance Madrid will sell Varane no point in even putting him in those ridiculous fantasy lineups. What does everyone expect from Luiz next year? I'd say in no order the 5 very best players of his ilk are Hummels, Ferdinand, Ramos, Piqué and Thiago Silva. On his day he put in a performance as good as any of those 4 but the next week he'll commit a daft error like the one he did at the weekend against Everton. Hell, even in the same game he'll ruin a worldie with an individual error. Things he must improve on next season. Stop the Hollywood passes. I know a large portion of them are due to our inept midfield but all it does is easily relinquish possession and put the defense under pressure. I don't mind attempting them from time to time if we're winning the midfield battle BUT he makes about 5/6 of them per game which is why his passing percentage is abnormally low. Improve aerially. Its all about desire and hunger really. He bottles way to many 50-50's and I expect that to stop once Mou returns. Tackle the f***king ball If I could be arsed I'm sure there are stats out there that back up the abnormally few tackles he makes a game but its definitely low. He has great anticipation and is very clever at making interceptions but he simply doesn't win enough challenges. It's not just Luiz though very few of our CB's apart from Ivanovic actually have the balls to take command of a defensive situation. JT because of his loss of pace over the years, Cahill can only block the ball and Luiz always leaves up such a important duty to others. Aside from those three crucial areas he's f***king brilliant though. No chance he's getting sold.

So what happened to Josh? Got his trophy wife and called it a day?

Why are people saying we can't win the League without a 20 goal a season striker by the way? Bayern are the best team in the World and performed better without a tap in merchant like Mario Gomez in the side. Mandzukic only scored 15 goals but his battering ram approach worked extremely well with Ribery and co. Juve won Serie A at a canter with 10 goal midfielder Vidal being their top scorer. As long as you have enough goal scorers in the squad (which we do) it can be done. We signed enough flops in the last couple of decades to last a lifetime. Mutu, Sutton, Torres, Sheva, Kezman, Pizzaro, Ba etc Rather than splashing money on just about anyone I prefer we try and be patient for once and aim to sign the right player. Out of all the strikers available, Cavani and Lewandowski are probably the only two that would fit the squad like a glove. If they're unavailable I prefer we go into the season with Torres/Ba/Lukaku rather than wasting money on the wrong player yet again in complete and utter desperation.

Why are people comparing Makelele to Khedira?, two completely different roles. Maka was a holding midfielder and a legit link from defense to attack while Khedira is still masquerading as a B2B CM. For the people saying Ramires is worse, lets take a look at the stats. Stats------- Rami Khedira Tackles P/G 3.2 2 Interceptions 1.6 1.2 Passing % 85 82 Passes P/G 37 34 Goals 5 2 Assists 1 2 Dribbles P/G 0.8 0.2 So Ramires basically destroys him in almost every category. For me Ramires is an incredible player just as long as you don't ask him to be the link between defense and attack. His stamina is almost unheard of, has the pace to keep up with any player, wins an almost abhorrent amount of tackles and duels. And is absolutely lethal of the counter. Liverpool in the FA Cup final, Barca two legs, United & Spurs this season. Big game & "clutch" footballer and one of our most underrated because we ask him to perform in roles he shouldn't. There is absolutely no need for another Ramires in this squad a worse one of that. Clear as day we're in need of a deep lying midfielder. Luiz has done a commendable job there especially against the s**t teams but in the big games his lack of nous in that role sticks out like a sore thumb.
-
Khedira is basically a worse version of Ramires. Amazes me how people overrate him because of the teams he plays for. There's nothing remarkable about him and he wouldn't fix our weaknesses in midfield.
-
Our number one priority should be a midfielder. Luiz isn't good enough at DM, Lampard is a goalscorer not a playmaker, Ramires is a B2B midfielder, Mikel isn't good enough and Romeu lacks the athleticism to be a reliable option there. Tired of us getting outclassed in the big games and constantly losing the midfield battle. We should be signing Banega this summer if the likes of Gundogan, Schweinsteiger and Modric aren't available.
-
So is there any truth to the Khedira rumours? I'll be devastated if he brings that plodder here. Shockingly inept footballer.
-
So many people on here who judge solely MOTD highlights and hype rather than actually analyzing the player. These are the same posters who'll turn on the player when he doesn't live up to expectations. Lukaku is the best player ever obviously. No weaknesses and has nothing to learn.
-
Are we really interested in Khedira? What a backwards and pointless signing if true. Ramires is a better version of him.
-
Did someone really just compare Hazard to Ronaldo? Hazard is a playmaker, midfielder and creator while CR is a poacher, forward and goalscorer. Weird. Torres sells shirts because he still remains marketable, has a huge and loyal fanbase and was the best striker in the World before injuries ruined him. Similar situations to Kaka and Ronaldinho. He's been our top shirt seller 3 years in a row now. That fat c**t Gourlay isn't letting that go. Anyway this is a pretty pointless debate. We'll just have to wait and see.
-
He would be too reckless playing CM although he could eventually adapt. That would probably his best position though because of his ridiculous passing range and two footedness, Unreal talent, Emenalo/Buck/Gourlay should all be sacked if he isn't playing here next season. Out of all the youngsters we have on loan he's the one that could actually be a productive and consistent start at the club. Schurrle ffs.
-
Can we please ban the phrase Mazacar from existence lol? Please? Anyway, the likes of Mata and Hazard rely on intricate passing and triangles. And are possession footballers. Mata will fit in Mou's system regardless of style because of his incredible versatility but he's beyond pathetic defensively. Can see him occasionally getting dropped if he doesn't improve on that end. Hazard loves to come inside and play one twos and link up with players, that's simply his game. While Jose prefers wingers who operate well.....wide, run at the fullback and send in crosses. Can't see Eden being too happy in that sort of role. Oscar is a perfect #10 and our best form this season came with him playing there but keeps playing wide for some reason. Expect that to continue under Mou as he prefers playing with two wingers. He played a ridiculous amount of games this season expect that to dramatically drop next year. Piazon's time at the club is as good as over tbh. Too many players to compete with while KDB could be even more talented than Mata but the rumours of us going after a worse player in Schurrle could mean his time is up. Moses is safe. Torres isn't getting sold by the way. Is he a legitimate first choice striker anymore like he was at Atleti and when he used to rape us in his prime at Anfield? No chance, he goes through too many goal droughts in a season to a reliable first option BUT he's still contributed with 23 goals and 12 assists this season, is by far the most popular player at the club and sells the most shirts. If anyone is getting sold it'll be Ba. He doesn't really fit in our system. If Mou is finally willing to adapt tactically and philosophically to the hand he's been dealt he's the right man for the job. If not expect another "mutual agreement" type departure and Avram Grant back in charge this time next year.
-
How many goals did Torres score this season again? 23 I think? As for Mou, I honestly believe this was the worst time possible for him to return. We don't have the players that suit his style. I fear for the likes of Oscar, Mata, Hazard, De Bruyne, McEachran and Piazon.
-
He's a bit shit. Marginal footballer. How was he "played out of form" btw? He's started almost all of our PL games and the FA Cup ones.
