  1. This kind of fans clearly shows the gullibility and idiocy that permeates the game.
  2. Funny the loonies labelled him as a rat when no such evidence exists.
  3. Frankly, the squad is easily the TOP 3 in England and easily TOP 10 in the world.Contrary to popular belief amongst the Mourinho lovers, I never thought the squad needed any major surgery or culling. More like replacements for aging players and a few quality additions. The rest can be filled by the best youth team in Europe.
  4. Fuck the boo boys. They should throw away their season tickets and buy new ones at Mourinho's new club. Very incisive play and a lot more penetration from the flanks which I have not seen since the thrashing of Swansea last season. C'mon you boys in blue !
  5. They should start following Mourinho at whichever club he joins. Get behind the team, morons!
  6. Great piece of news. Universally accepted by all and sundry at the club. A rolling contract isn't a bad idea to keep him at the Bridge beyond just being an interim as I can see him getting the team to climb the table and have a good run in the CL.
  7. Mourinho slated the fans too and I certainly didn't find that personal in the least. I don't recall Roman doing that at all. What I do find personal is a man who sunk in a billion pounds of his own money to save the club and build it to what it is today. Roman's a club owner, not a cheerleader and even then he has done enough of that with his whopping and high fiving at matches when the team is winning. You wish to start a Roman out campaign? Or are you going to switch allegiance to whichever club Mourinho joins?
  8. If being one of us means being a lifelong fan, Mourinho wouldn't qualify either. In fact, it's Roman who has been at the club longer than Mourinho. Using personal biasness to determine who is a real fan and who isn't smacks of the very delusion and lack of realism that you are pointing out.
  9. Accusing Roman of not being "one of us". No other Football chairman has invested so much of their time and money. Get over it. Mourinho's gone for good.
  10. By virtue of being able to attack and defend as the game flows as opposed to tracking back incessantly and being hamstrung by relying on ONE player to unlock defences.
  11. I predict a comfortable 3-0 win with the attacking players i.e. Hazard, Willian and Pedro if selected blitzing their way through Sunderland's defence. The shackles would be let loose and they would be free to express themselves to go on the offensive, create and score goals from open play.
  12. On the contrary, it's Roman's money and he can pretty damn well do what he pleases wit the club. He has bent over backwards to accomodate Mourinho's antics and the team's poor results this season.
  13. I am fairly certain that Hiddink will get us going on a good run in the EPL and it wouldn't surprise me to see the boys in blue at the CL semi-finals at least.
  14. I suggest you take a look at RedCafe.com which is by far the biggest online gathering of Man Utd fans and read for yourself how many (or few) reds fans would welcome him.
  15. Nothing to suggest that he wishes to find a permanent home. On the contrary, it was the Real Madrid fiascos Mk II that was repeating itself at the Bridge. So are you going to support the club from now onwards?
  16. Won the league at what price? The results are evident this season right up till he was sacked. Admit it, Mourinho is just a modern day nomad manager.
  17. Surprised me there with this somewhat abrupt decision - I thought he was going to last till next summer. Thanks for all the good memories and excitement, Jose Mourinho. But things were not working out as they should and enjoy the break before your next job. Meanwhile, I would like to see the club appoint a manager who will allow the attacking players express themselves more instead of the endless back-tracking and with more youth players involved in first team action. The likes of Willian and Pedro will attack more and score more goals from now onwards, I am sure of that.
  18. I expect a younger up and coming manager to be appointed next summer. The experienced ones like Hiddink or Ancelotti seem to be more of a temporary stop gap.
  19. I don't see him coming to the Bridge.
  20. Mourinho won't be sacked this season unless the club is still in a relegation dogfight come April 2016. But I can see him being dismissed right after the campaign ends in order for the new manager to come in and be given a full summer.
  21. 9 players leaving at one go is hogwash. I just don't see a massive turonver either in January or next summer regardless of who the manager is. The club is not awash with transfer funds anymore and to me, it may be a good thing as this will eventually force the powers that be to integrate youth more proactively.
  22. Much as I like to see Ake and the best loan prospects being played on the pitch, Mourinho will never do that. Expect the same turgid tactics and the same under-performing 14 or so players at the Bridge this weekend.
  23. Point noted but in reality neither lower league nor youth team players are getting much of a chance anyway.
  24. My thoughts exactly and thankis for putting this across so succintly. I never thought for a second that Mourinho would wish to stay for a long time at any football club as his tantrums, defensive tactics and insistence on buying marque players every season doesnt seat well with a long-term vision of a team which plays attractive football with a good mixture of home grown youth and experience. It may be a tad idealistic but Mourinho does not even bother to attempt any moves to realize this.
