  1. Your cheap cover would hold more water if Papy was staying instead of being loaned out in January. Citing Barcelona or whatever club comes to your fancy does NOT excuse Who's talking about buying second best players? It's about buying equivalent players with a plan B in mind. If Stones isn't available this summer, does that mean the club can shut out all other options? Keep believing that the squad is good enough for TOP 4 on paper when reality shows where the club lies which is in 14th place. Meanwhile, keep up your defense of Emenalo and his shambolic dealings.
  2. It all depends on the new manager but I believe that Ivanovic will retain his first team spot next season and the team will continue to leak lots of goals.
  3. Your cheap cover would hold more water if Papy was staying instead of being loaned out in January. Citing Barcelona or whatever club comes to your fancy does NOT excuse the shambles of a transfer window.
  4. Absolutely zero relevance to Barcelona. The quality of Barca's first team speaks for itself. It means that Chelsea didn't have a plan B last summer and failed to strengthen the defense.
  5. From a John Stones pursuit all of summer 2015 which eventually petered out to a last-day buy of Papy and you are telling us this is low cost cover. As someone asked, are you Emelano in disguise?
  6. There was some joker of a poster in one of the Chelsea forums that was bleating about how Papy was fulfilling a vital role in being a cheap squad filler in order to release youth players to be loaned out. What lunacy! If Emenalo signs any more Papys or Hectors in the summer, he deserves to be shot!
  7. He's my least favourite player now at the club. He must be stripped of his vice captaincy, be put on the transfer list for the January window and if he's not sold this month then he should be forced to train with the under 21s until he gets booted out in the summer . Pure fantasy I know since the clueless Board are giving him a Nee contract!
  8. Why is Hiddink still playing him? If he has an ounce of sense, he would drop Ivanovic for the next several matches. I can understand Mourinho sticking with Ivanovic with his untouchable biasness but Hididnk should show that he is his own man and rewrite the entire team sheet if need be.
  9. I doubt the board will get rid of the deadwood. After all, they offered a one year contract to Ivanovic! Also, Ramires got another 3 years added to his contract. The only certainty to leave is Falcao.
  10. Folks, how much do you think needs to be spent this summer? Personally, I believe the Board still wants to adhere to FFP and will continue with its "one in one out" policy and the club won't spend more than 70 million pounds on perhaps 3-4 players. I cannot see 50 million pounds being laid out for John Stones.
  11. Ivanovic knows he was outdone there so he's trying clear himself of blame by throwing it to Zouma. He's wank and he knows it. Time to cancel that one year extension and boot him out this summer.
  12. Extremely bad decision by the Chelsea BOD. I sincerely hope that Ivanovic is relegated to be a back-up player next season and it does not stop Azpiculletta from replacing him at right-back.
  13. Pedro was a panic buy after poor results and with the transfer dateline date looming, the Board reacted. Unfortunately, panic buys are mostly unworthy purchases and Pedro is no exception.
  14. Mourinho is to blame for hoisting this Falcao debacle on the club. It was just a favour for his agent Jorge Mendes and has zilch to do with Falcao's football ability and condition. No more purchases of over-the-hill strikers ANYMORE from now onwards!
  15. If this is true, then hallelujah to Hiddink and the coaching team. The display against Palace was the best I have seen since the Jan 2015 5-0 thumping of Swansea City. Attackers interchanging and passing angles being exploited by the midfield is what we footy fans want to see.
  16. You better get used to the fact that Chelsea will be spending a LOT less money than the likes of the Manchester clubs from now onwards. The transfer budget will be more akin to Arsenal's and Bayern Munich's. Finances and the stadium is the priority now instead of expensive new players. Which in itself is a great thing as it will force the club to do smarter scouting in unearthing up and coming players as well as integrate more of our promising youth players. I don't need Chelsea to win the title, cups and the CL every season. All I wish to see is that they play positive football with a good blend of experience and youth players.
  17. I wouldn't put too much stock into what Ferguson mentioned in his book. After all, he did say he wanted Guardiola to replace him and yet David Moyes was mentioned as the only man for the job when they hired him 3 seasons ago.
  18. The club is operating with a stricter Budget than Man City and won't be making world class buys every summer.Using Man City's spending as a benchmark is BS. I am fed up of fans like you who insist on waving the cheque book every summer. So what if we don't win the title every season?
  19. The squad is good enough for a CL position. Only cheque book fans like you would insist on spending a hundred million quid every season. There's something called smart purchases and the youth team to provide players. By the way, you better get used to the club spending much less that your desired 100 million quid for the foreseeable future as ground development has taken priority.
  20. Only deluded fools would believe that Mourinho is one of us. He was itching for the Man Utd manager job 3 years ago and only came to the Bridge after he was turned down by Alex Ferguson and Bobby Charlton. This is a money business for them. There are no bloody loyalties in Football or in any profession for that matter.
  21. By not spending a hundred million quid means the club is dropping back? No wonder some call us blues fans plastics....
  22. Let's see who Hiddink selects. Nevertheless, Ivanovic should not be playing at right-back anymore and in fact, I would rather he move out of the club next summer. Age has caught up and the club needs to buy a left back to compete with Rahman and put Azpi in his rightful position at RB.
  23. Hiddink will probably go with a 4-3-3 formation like he deployed the last time he was at the Bridge. As to which players he will select, that's up in the air for me. It's interesting that he supposedly breakfasted with Mourinho to discuss the happenings at the dressing room.
  24. Couldn't give a fig where Mourinho goes to after his dismissal. For those still hankering for him, I suggest you should follow whichever new club he goes to be it Man Utd or some other club.
  25. I am confident that Hiddink will take us far in the CL and ignite a climb up the PL table with top 4 being no surprise if it happens. There's no dark clouds and toxicity anywhere around that man.
